The past two days, thanks to the Persian Poet Rumi here on donet, we have been looking at Poetry!

Widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language, William Shakespeare (1564-1616) penned an unparalleled collection of sonnets, narrative poems, and poetic plays.

Founded in 1934, the Academy of American Poets is the largest membership-based organization for poets and poetry lovers in the United States. They champion the art of poetry and offer resources like Poem-a-Day and National Poetry Month initiative.

The Poetry Foundation publishes ‘Poetry’ magazine and operates one of the largest digital archives of poetry. Based in Chicago, it aims to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience.

Beyond a doubt, my absolute personal favorite Poet is Robert W. Service.
