Why Oh Why am I revisiting this topic that began for me back at the end of January of 2017?
Does The Shadow Know?
Well.. it IS a legitimate medical issue and challenge.
And Yes Oh Yes, I have Osteoporosis and can speak having had experience with it.

OSTEOPOROSIS
Humm.. NATIONAL TODAY. I thought that my Male Osteoporosis was a long ago forgotten adventure.

It was indeed just that.. A long ago forgotten adventure.
Then yesterday, Monday the 19th, our new-to-us Doctor, placed an order for me to have a Bone Density examination to test me for Osteoporosis.
I sit sighing a long sigh!
I called the imaging department at our local Hospital and told them to take me off the calendar.
I then called my Doctor’s office and repeated to his office assistant what I had gone over with him in great detail during our appointment just last Friday.
I am not going to re-visit this issue. I completed a four or a five year regimen with both Mayo Clinic and Hong Kong doctors, and had absolutely no improvement what-so-ever.

A final tid-bit..
Dating way back to February the 28th of 2018, Patti and I were visiting a friend of hers in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her husband is a fellow senior citizen and an extremely brilliant PhD scientist at Los Alamos Laboratories dating back to the 1950’s.
He told me that.. “I was on Risedronate. It did nothing at all for me in regards to strengthening my bone density. BUT it did stop further degeneration. However I stopped taking it.”

I understand tai chi will help with bone density. Something akin to yoga–very low impact. Will also help with your balance issues.
I think that I will look into tai chi when we get to Arizona. There are a lot of senior citizens there, so classes should be readily available. Again thanks so very much for you interest. Cap
Fed. Center for Disease Control and Preventions says tai chi significantly reduces falling in seniors. Another of your concerns.
Yes, tai chi sure has a good reputation for assisting people with various issues Gullible. Thanks for your interest. Cap
Lots of free all levels of tai chi on YouTube! Keep doing what you can.
Beautiful sunny fall days in the 60s and 70s dipping to 30s and 40s at night now.
We got our hot tub warming up in the shop! Almost all together.
