MAR 28, 15 .. PATTI HAS ARRIVED INTO HONG KONG !!

My computer server is located in the lower 48 United States where you all are still experiencing Friday the 27th of March. This is why there are two dates above .. In Hong Kong it is Saturday the 28th of March.  

All is well .. All is swell .. That ends so very well !!

Patti flew from Anchorage to Seattle and from Seattle to San Francisco on Wednesday the 25th of March. She then stayed overnight in San Francisco to rest up for the long .. 14-hour .. flight to Hong Kong on Friday the 27th of March.

Everything went smoothly on this first leg of her trip back to Hong Kong.

On Friday the 27th of March .. at 12:30AM San Francisco time .. Patti’s flight to Hong Kong departed.

Meanwhile Ceemon and I readied ourselves to meet Patti.

The two of us caught a taxi at 4:10AM Hong Kong time on Saturday the 28th of March and headed for the airport.

Patti’s flight .. Cathay Pacific Number CX 873 .. pulled into the arrival gate in Hong Kong at 5:15AM .. 45 MINUTES EARLY!

Then Ceemon .. who arranged Patti’s FIRST CLASS ticket ..

THANK YOU CEEMON .. PATTI AND I WILL FOREVER BE THANKFUL FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE SETTING UP AND FUNDING PATTI’S TICKET WITH YOUR AIRLINE MILES!

Patti’s trip .. to coin-a-phrase .. was FIRST CLASS!

Ceemon and I began the wait for Patti to de-plane .. pass through immigration and customs .. pick up her checked baggage ..

NEITHER PATTI NOR MYSELF CAN QUITE FULLY COMPREHEND THAT PATTI IS ACTUALLY BACK IN HONG KONG!

    Yes, YES, triple YES, I AM safely into Hong Kong!!! … THANKS in large part to Ceemon for arranging the airline reservations. I DID fly First Class and it was, to very much understate it, WONDERFUL. For one who rarely sleeps on planes, I got about nine hours of delicious sleep…they “MADE UP MY BED”, which included them putting down a mattress, and providing an armfull of pillows and a feather comforter! It was so spacious it felt like a private room!! So, GREAT beginning to my return to Hong Kong. And, being 45 minutes early, I suspected that perhaps Cap and Ceemon would not yet be at the airport. They were!! Loud and proud with waves and huge smiles. I am SO happy to be here!!!!!! Hugs, Patti

      The first train to the Hong Kong Airport leaves Hong Kong City at 5:50AM. The first bus to the Hong Kong Airport leaves Hong Kong City at 5:30AM. Ceemon had tracked Patti’s flight all night and we two knew it was .. at one time .. scheduled to arrive at 4:34AM .. then finally at 5:15AM .. WELL AHEAD OF EITHER THE TRAIN OR THE BUS departing from the city!!

      WHAT TO DO. I took a clue from my buddy ‘Zilla and paid 300 HKG $ for a TAXI. We left Sheung Wan at 4:10AM and were there to meet Patti with tons of time-to-spare at 4:40AM.

      Patti was shocked and delighted to see the two of us. We had set up a plan for Patti to meet us at the Airport Express Train station ticket counter IF Ceemon and I were not there when Patti arrived into the terminal.

      Patti just said to me .. “It all worked out .. BETTER THAN WELL!”
