SEP 8, 19 (Part 3 of 3 Parts) .. MY LAST FULL DAY IN RUSSIAN SIBERIA .. WHERE HAVE TEN MONTHS GONE

In the morning, I will board a Trans-Siberian Express Train here in Irkutsk (upper left red balloon). We will depart Irkutsk at 0813 hours (8:13am) and travel East to Ulan-Ude (upper right red balloon). From Ulan-Ude we will then turn South and head for Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (lower red balloon). We are due into Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday morning at 0650 hours (6:50am) God-Willing and the creeks don’t rise.

I am not just taking a trip. Oh no. I am leaving a Flat that I have occupied for ten months since I moved in on November 8th, 2018. This means work because I am going to leave things in good shape. So along with packing everything I will be taking with me, I have been house cleaning since I returned last Tuesday night (late) from Vladivostok. Now I am going to publish this Part 1 of 2 Parts and move ahead to Part 2.

See you in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

It is a real tug at my heartstrings to think about you leaving our flat for one last time. What a perfect place it has been for us to live there! It IS nice to know you will be warmly welcomed by dear friends in Ulaanbaatar and will be staying in a very welcoming room that has embraced you (and me, when I was there) in the past, in a neighborhood that is also very convenient. My heart is with you. Love, Patti
