Last Sunday I treated Lisa to dinner at the Magic Park Sunday Evening Buffet here in Arambol Beach.. before meeting at the restaurant.. Lisa asked me if it was OK to invite several of her friends.. I said “Absolutely but I am only paying for your dinner buffet..” .. she fully understood and at 7PM Lisa and two lady friends joined me.. we four sat at my favorite table for four ..
One of her friends ..it turns out was from France .. and upon meeting me.. she leaned over and she LIGHTLY kissed me on my right and then my left cheek .. and sat down next to me.. across from Lisa ..
Lisa’s other friend was from Great Britian and spoke perfect English..
The young lady from France had some difficulty with English.. but Lisa speaks fluent French and was a good bridge for we four..
I was searching for something to say to the young lady from France and finally stumbled out with .. “I follow the Tour de France bicycle race with my son every summer.. it is quite an event ..”
I told you this was going to be fun ..
SHE.. the young lady from France ‘brightened up’ and came out with this ..
“Two years ago I presented the various classification winners with their trophies after the final stage finished in Paris on the Champs de Elysees (Champs-Elysees) ” .. and if you have watched this ceremony.. they do indeed give a very light kiss to each rider on each cheek ..
SO ALBERTO AND CAP HAVE BOTH BEEN KISSED LIGHTLY ON EACH CHEEK BY THE SAME FRENCH YOUNG LADY..
And get this.. two years ago it was July 2009.. two races ago it was July 2010 ..
Alberto Contador won BOTH races.. in 2009 and in 2010.. so either way.. two years or two races ago.. she kissed Alberto ..
