I REMAIN ALONE IN A FOUR-MAN dorm room here at the YMCA .. three (3) count-them days and counting in my ‘private room’ .. WHAT A PHENOMENAL BREAK THIS IS FOR ME ..
As planned .. I again met with my friends from France .. the Olingers .. last night (my Friday evening) and Clement and I posted photos ontomy other web site .. http://bobbacaps.blogspot.com .. so go there if you would like to see some (my second photo post here in Hong Kong) additional new photos ..
After we got the photo post up we all went out for dinner .. my treat .. is this expensive ? .. I am asking you .. you tell me .. we had three (13-inch diameter) Pizzas and Clement had one GLASS (NOT a bottle) of a LOCAL BEER .. not a fancy imported beer ..
The cost for three (to us medium sized) Pizzas and one glass of beer .. in U.S. Dollars was .. Sixty Seven Dollars and Sixteen Cents .. Merlin’s Pizza was 143 HK Dollars .. my Pizza and Clement and Patricia’s Pizza were each 158 HK Dollars .. and Clement’s glass of beer was 38 HK Dollars .. they add up to 497 HK Dollars .. divide by 7.4 HK Dollars per one U.S. Dollar and I think you get $67.16 in U.S. Dollars ..
‘Seems’ a ‘tad’ expensive to me ..
OH YES ! .. the Pizzas were EXCELLENT .. I took photos of them which I will post on my blogspot web side WHEN AND IF I can get an internet connection .. Clement and family LEAVE TODAY so that avenue will disapper ..

At McDonalds at the Star Ferry Terminal .. a McFlurry is ONLY 12.5 HK Dollars .. a real stupendous BARGAIN .. at One Dollar and Sixty Nine Cents .. and I am NOT kidding .. I told you in a recent post ONE SINGLE SCOOP of Hagan Daas Ice Cream here is Four U.S. Dollars and Seventy Three U.S. Cents ! .. for one scoop .. so the McFlurry is a tremendous BARGAIN..
The McDonalds at the Star Ferry Terminal is open .. 24/7 .. 24 hours-a-day / 7 days-a-week .. and it seems to ALWAYS BE CROWDED .. day and night .. and it is GOOD quality food ..
