AUG 25, 19 .. VLADIVOSTOK .. SILLY PROJECTS AND A MEETING ..

In one of my all-time-favorite questions, Jerry 94954 asked me back in 1990 on my first trip to India : “Cap what do you DO all day?”

Jerry never has repeated his question.

Patti will appreciate that I turned ONE juice carton into TWO mini-waste-baskets.

I needed to wash one of my stuff-sacks so I cut an empty, 5-liter, water bottle into a mini-wash basin and a larger wash basin to wash my stuff sack.

On the left below is the mini-wash basin. In the center is my new laundry tub. On the right is a not-yet-empty 5-liter water bottle (“Gee Dad, is this what is going to become of me?”).

Below is my new laundry tub in-action with my stuff-sack thrilled at being washed.

My brand new looking stuff-sack.

His job is to hold my parka. Then he acts as a knee-pillow when I sleep and I put him under my arms on long automobile trips such as the 3-hour trip from Irkutsk to Baykalsk a week or so ago. I also carry him on flights for the same reason.

A few photos of the meeting room that I spoke at this afternoon.

I was seated at this end of the room.

When I talk, I walk all around the room, from the front to the back, and up and down both sides.

I have just published a Post on blogspot showing a few more photos of Vladivostok.

Having lived with you for several “busy years” now, I have to also chuckle over Jerry’s question some years ago, “Cap, what DO you do all day?” I can attest to the fact that you NEVER run out of projects, and you can make useful things out of, I think, ANYTHING!! Made me smile seeing your two small trash containers, as well as the wash basin and the laundry tub made out of the water jugs. That’s my civil engineer, always building something!! I can see you walking and talking your way around that meeting room. Nice post. Hugs. Patti

Happy you liked the Post. As I walk around a room, I will interact with members. Stressing points I make. One working with another as I shake someone’s hand. Nice room in a vintage Roman Catholic Church. I get satisfaction out of my projects because they serve me. I am really using the two mini-trash receptacles. I also have uses (other than washing clothing or stuff sacks) for the partial water jug as well. Thanks My Dear One .. Love Cap
