SEP 22, 19 .. CHIT CHAT ON A SUNDAY IN ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA

Although I am not even close to being organized like I want, I am getting Post Cards written. Tomorrow I will mail another 11 bringing my total to date up to 37.

All have the amazing stamps that most of you have seen in prior mailings dating back to July 2015.

I did get back to posting photos I took in Vladivostok. Below is a link to my blogspot Post that shows photos of the Vladivostok Railway Station.

If I sound tired and out-of-gas, it is because I am tired and I am out-of-gas. I slept in this morning and then followed up with naps during the day totaling just over two hours. The light in our bathroom burned out and I was able to get out, find and install a new bulb that was correct, and we are back in business. My three neighbors in adjoining rooms (a young man and his sister and a teacher) seemed happy and impressed that I just-did-it and did not wait on them to do it.

Tomorrow I am speaking at a 6:30PM meeting. This will make three meetings in four days.

Below are a few photos just for Patti showing familiar old yogurt friends from Irkutsk and Russian Siberia in general that I have found in Ulaanbaatar.

Now that I have been in Russia, I can see where so many of Mongolia’s products originate.

It’s been fun My Dear One to enjoy all of these. I am sure you remember the below one we got a kick out of.

Here’s something that only I might do. I wrote about the amazingly hot spicy soup in a Post dated SEP 20, 19. Soup that was too hot for me to ingest. Well I went back to the store and purchased another package to get my hands on another packet of the hot sauce. Using only a scant teaspoon of the spicy sauce made it edible but it was still too hot. So then I added only thirteen (13) drops from an eye dropper to another package of noodles. That was far too weak. So this evening I added a full eye dropper of the spicy sauce. THAT is in the ball park.  Pleasantly warm. I might now move up to one full eye dropper plus one half of an eye dropper of the spicy sauce. It continues to amaze me how hot this sauce is.

That will be THAT Sports Fans.

No sign today of the puppy.

The stamps are AMAZING! Nice that you have the yummy yogurt available there. Maybe the puppy really does have a good home and the “family” was just letting him sun himself for awhile (and collect some belly rubs). Sweet to see him here again. Hugs. Patti

I will keep my eye out for the puppy. He did seem to be very healthy if a little dirty. Right now the yogurt is a main staple of my diet. Yogurt with the amazing dark / black bread and a 1/2 liter of my water / fruit juice with my minerals is both breakfast and a mid-afternoon snack. Smiles My Dear One .. Cap

I can’t even imagine how hot that sauce is if it is too hot for you!! I didn’t think that was possible! Cute little furry friend you found there, I bet Vigo would like to play with that pup. Happy belated birthday! I always enjoy catching up with your posts.
