OCT 21, 19 .. WHAT? .. A HEIST OUTSIDE MY WINDOW? IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!

Stay tuned here Sports Fans. You never know for sure what’s coming next because I myself never know what’s coming next!

Heist (noun) .. A heist occurs any time there is an unauthorized taking of property from another with the intent to permanently deprive that person of the property. To abscond with.

As I was looking out of my window last Saturday afternoon, to check on the progress of the sidewalk paving project now underway, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Five young adults were walking past carrying (what looked to be) a piece of fencing.

I wish I’d have had my camera ‘at the ready’ but alas alack (I regret)! I did not.

Then the five of them stopped ‘just up the way’ to ‘take a breather’. I grabbed my camera and snapped the below four photos.

Are they scoundrels? Are they villains? Out on a Saturday afternoon heist here in my neighborhood!

Or are they ‘rescuing’ a piece of fencing about to be discarded into the trash?

“Time to go!” they decided.

Hup two three four and off the five of them went.

And?

There’s something happening here.. What it is ain’t exactly clear..

I’ll probably never know in this lifetime What Was Happening Here.

I just published a post on blogspot. In case any of you want to check it out, below is the link..

I would hope this was just hauling away a section of fencing that had been intended to be taken away/discarded .. and not a heist. The fact that it looks like there were mostly women in the hauling group would make me feel it was more likely legitimate. Amazing that you were able to catch it on camera from your room seven stories up as it was happening. Things that make you say hmmmm. Hugs! Patti

I have to hope that, with what looks to be four of them ladies, it is on the up-and-up! I only wish I would have ‘caught’ them as they walked past on the street right below my window. I was tickled pink when they all stopped for a ‘short breather’ just up the street. I have been idly looking around for what they may have done with the piece of fence. Oh Yes !! Hmmmmmmmmm .. Much Love Cap
