During a normal year in all of the Arctic regions of the world (read : a NON Covid 19 virus year) there are a lot of celebrations and activities on the Winter Solstice.

Here is what it looks like today.

Out our living room window early this morning.

Looking out our bedroom window early this morning.

Out in our parking lot. You get the idea. Even during our daylight hours it is somewhat ‘dark’.

In a Merry Christmas Message one of our relatives sent us the following words :

Our stockings are hung by the window with care so our housecats can bat at them in midair.

Smiles Linda. At this instant, we are happy to be safe and home and NOT in a motel in Arizona with Covid19 cases spiking. So we are looking at the positive side of things and happy to be home KNOWING the daylight will now begin to return. Smiles Cap and Patti
