Thank You Kleiner Bär for asking if Patti’s surgery is still on today.
At (and yes I mean literally) 12 noon (high noon) I will drop Patti off at Providence Hospital Day Surgery and watch her disappear behind doors to begin her breast cancer surgery.
We could not possibly, in any way, be happier than we are with Patti’s surgeon. We are fully confident in her and her staff and the two of us are not overly concerned nor worried about Patti’s surgery today. After all, this exact precise procedure (go in, get a very small tumor, and remove it) was performed on Patti in October of 2012 with no problems whatsoever.
Yes, I know, some of you may not know about this medical development (or may want to refresh your memory). Below is a link for you to catch up with us.
Then, after her surgery and recovery process is finished, I will receive a phone call from the Hospital staff to come and assist Patti to return to our Condo.
This past week we have had several pre-surgery medical appointments and all have been routine in nature. One thing her appointments have had in common were these words : This tumor is extremely tiny. Your getting your mamogram was an outstanding decision.
After we get home, we are going to focus upon one thing : Assisting Patti to recover.
Yes, even very short phone calls, when added up, can be absolutely exhausting. IF you wish to be in direct contact with either of us, please send text messages. We will have our phones on silent.
And?
We thank each and every single one of you for your support. It really means a lot to both of us.
