DEC 28, 21 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH

Somehow, what with our truck being stolen and all of the issues around it, I have failed to post a link here to a blogspot Post about Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and an adventure for Patti and me. It was a surprising and believe me, fun adventure. If you want to see it just click onto the below link.

Most of my morning was spent dealing with the theft of our truck and the swirling aftermath it has left.

Then, all of a sudden, I said to Patti, “Let’s you and I drive over to Laughlin, Nevada, and sing Happy Birthday to Ginny in person and take Ginny and Tom out to dinner.”

So out and off Patti and I went leaving Lake Havasu City about 1:45pm. A very pleasant drive (it was cool and overcast and pleasant) and fun to again visit Laughlin where we recently stayed at The Edgewater Hotel and Casino. The Edgewater and Laughlin are becoming like good old friends for us.

Yes! We went to The Edgewater to visit Shamrock, our old slot machine friend.

We put $25 into Shamrock and he paid back $9. So a few minutes of fun just being a small piece of the action in a major Casino only cost $16.

Then we four (Tom and Ginny and Patti and I) took off for dinner together to celebrate Ginny’s Birthday.

And then we were back home in Lake Havasu City at our Windsor Inn safe and sound (except it was in the dark of night).

It was good for our spirits to just get out onto the road (about a 150 mile round trip) and enjoy a visit with good friends.

Be it good, Be it bad, This Too Shall Pass.

If I only could put a “like” to what I’ve read here so I’d put THREE “LIKE”s!
Happy New Year of Life for your friend Ginny!
And siberian health to ALL FOUR of you!
    With a warm hug,
    Olga
