MAR 13, 22 .. ONE FUN DAY HERE IN LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA
Saturday the 12th of March
Tom and Ginny came down to visit us for the day.
For openers we went to a noon meeting here in Lake Havasu City at Our House.
Then the four of us went for a Ferry Boat ride out on Lake Havasu.
And we arrived at the Havasu Landing Resort and Casino across Lake Havasu from the city.
And as we were leaving the Casino and heading back to Lake Havasu City..
DRAMA !!
Our Ferry Boat broke down, fortunately just barely away from the Casino dock.
And we (along with several hundred other visitors) were stranded at the Havasu Landing Resort and Casino. After 30 minutes (during which time our friend Michael in Lake Havasu City offered to drive the 1-1/2 hour 71 mile drive over to the resort so we could get home along with Leon in Kingman) another Ferry Boat was pressed into service and all is well that ends well.
And??
We were hungry !!
What do do? Grab a nice dinner at the Golden Phoenix Chinese Restaurant !!
Our Singapore Rice Noodles are at the lower left above.
Ginny enjoyed her Sweet and Sour Chicken (above left) and Tom his Chinese Family Dinner (above right).
And out and off Tom and Ginny went on their 1 hour and 20 minute drive home to Laughlin, Nevada.
It was a super fun day for us (in spite of the Ferry Boat breakdown DRAMA).
Still Smiling at the memory of it.

Tom’s dinner looks great! All those veggies. That’s what I would have ordered.
No question Gullible, Tom made a great choice and ?? Tom could not finish it all and took some home to finish later when they got home to Laughlin !! Tom not finishing all of his food is a rare (a first for me to see) event. We always appreciate your comments !! Smiling .. Cap and Patti

My friend Terry was the first to pick 2 stones, one for her and one for her to pass along. She was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to pass it on. Yes, delicious 😋 dinner. Cap I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Tom take part of his dinner home and I can’t believe I ate all mine, of course I did have help, lol thanks again for the amazing day
Yes indeed Ginny, what an awesome day it truly was. A day you can’t script. So nice for you to actually sit at a meeting in Our House in Lake Havasu City because you were familiar with its address. The boat ride and visiting and then taa daa the DRAMA, how were we going to get home? A giggle that you too have not seen Tom take food home. Tom IS a REAL eater!! What a Bingo the pocket spiritual stones are. I just knew you’d love them and will continue to do so for I hope years to come. Be on the lookout for your package that is on its way Ginny. Smiles ..
