APR 8, 22 .. PART 1 .. FOR PATTI .. A MAYO CLINIC DAY ..

Today, at 1pm, Patti will begin the process of having her fifth (5th) Barrett’s Esophagus treatment. On the surface, this being her 5th treatment, there is nothing new to us. All of these procedures have a list of things one must do, or must NOT do (such as NO food for 8 hours before the procedure, etc!!) before the procedure and after the procedure, another set of must do or must NOT do (must NOT eat certain foods etc).

When we get back to our motel after the procedure has been completed, we will just rest and be quiet. We have all the food stuffs that Patti can eat (clear jello, apple sauce, etc) in our mini fridge here in our room.

We don’t expect any drama what-so-ever BUT with medical procedures one never knows.
