The time has come, the Walrus said,
To talk of many things:
Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
And whether pigs have wings.
The Walrus and the Carpenter
BY LEWIS CARROLL
Then I also have Julia Cameron on my team.
Julia Cameron wrote, in the chapter titled : PROCRASTINATION, the below thoughts on Page 223 of her amazing book .. ‘The Right To Write’ An Invitation and Initiation into the Writing Life ..
Thank You once again Brad 49885 for the gift to me of her book ..
“When we start to write, we prime the pump and the flow of ideas begins to move. It is the act of writing that calls ideas forth, not ideas that call forward writing.”
The time has come to get on with the getting on here. And to do that I am following Julia Cameron’s advice .. By starting to write, I am priming my so called writing pump so that some ideas will now begin to flow.

Because at least a few of you really and truly and deeply care about Patti and me, I’ve decided to revisit our 2nd covid-19 infection.
How we belive we contacted the covid-19 virus.
We feel we both picked up the virus on our trip to Michigan last May 13th (oddly it WAS a Friday the Thirteenth) arriving early in the morning May 14th. I say we both picked it up. Maybe Patti picked it up and (like I did to Patti in December of 2019 when I returned from Mongolia) then passed it to me. No matter. We both tested (PCR testing by medical professionals and home testing as well) POSITIVE on May 19th and 20th. We continued to test positive for the next two plus weeks. When we returned to Anchorage (after the trip from hell) on June 7th we immediately were (again PCR tests by medical professionals) tested with the results being NEGATIVE. We followed up the June 7th PCR tests with NEGATIVE home tests on June 11th and 13th.
So we have officially survived our second covid-19 experience.
The problem is (at least for me I can’t speak for Patti) that I feel zapped. This recent bout has taken its toll on me in terms of fatigue and lack of stamina. And? When I feel like I have been feeling, it is difficult (yea nearly impossible) to sit down and publish something here.
BUT, I may be down but I sure am NOT OUT for the count. So here I sit. I lay down last evening to take a short nap. Short nap? I slept like the dead for well over three hours. I awoke at two o’clock in the morning and decided I’d feel better if I sat down down here and wrote something.
It is not that we are not doing anything. Au contraire, on the contrary. Patti had medical and dental appointments Monday and Tuesday and yesterday Wednesday. These medical and dental appointments basically dictate the day. We did watch the NBA Final Game 5 last Monday evening where the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics to go up 3 games to 2 and can win the NBA Championship tonight in Game 6 in Boston. And I charted the game so I really was into it. Tuesdsay and yesterday we got to Home Depot and ordered a new washer and dryer combination and I played holy hell getting a Home Depot Credit Card having to lift our credit bureau frozen accounts and, for several reasons, THAT took a big chunk out of the day yesterday. By successfully getting the credit card we got a $100 cash back reward.
And we continue to recover from the trip to and return from Michigan and all that it took out of us.
Yes we have also been going to meetings.
And who on earth cares. Well some of you DO CARE and we thank and appreciate you.
By the way I owe an apology to you Kathleen, Michael, Tom, Olga and Gullible to name five of you, for being so slow to reply to your recent kind comments.
Olga wanted a photo of our nice weather here in Anchorage.
To quote Bugs Bunny, That’s all for now folks.
