SEP 17, 22 .. ISN’T THIS THE TRUTH !!
Just when we think we’ve got things figured out . . . Everything CHANGES . . .
Now that we have more time (being retired) it takes us longer to do things.
We’ve saved some money, but oh how the prices have gone up!
I would fix our Suburban but, being an older model, some of the parts are hard to get.
The new vehicles are so technical I can’t figure them out nor do I have the technical equipment or the skills required to work on them.
Now that we’ve more time to visit family and friends, they’ve moved or many have passed on!
We used to think we were pretty smart but now we don’t even understand the questions (try Jeopardy!).
The only thing we’re sure of these days is the Good Lord has blessed us with wonderful lives.

Have you checked the price on your pecan mini-pies? From 71 cents to $1.21! Nearby was a whole pie for less than $3.00!
I don’t watch Jeopardy, but I can imagine the questions being mysteries.
Our Walmart stores here haven’t had the mini-pecan pies for months so NO, we did not notice any price increase because we stopped even looking for them. NO way would we pay $1.21 for one mini-pie!! Many (not all however) of the Jeopardy categories are very (to say the least) interesting. Will have to take notes one day and give you examples. Smiles .. Cap and Patti
No, I won’t pay that price either, especially when you can get a whole pie (eight inch, I think) for under $3.
