IF you don’t click onto the above link, or even if you do you may miss this important fact : The alcohol by volume (ABV) content of HARD Cider varies from 4.5% to 7% BUT someHARD ciders have an ABV content from 10% to 12%.
Make no mistake, HARD Ciders are indeed alcoholic beverages!!
I checked a list of 270 (yes, two hundred and seventy) brands of beer for ABV content.
The ABV content of most ‘regular’ brands of beer varies from 5% to 6%. The ABV content of most ‘light’ brands of beer range from 2.3% to 4.8%.
The ABV content of Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales can run from 15% to 20%.

RHETORICAL QUESTION : What would we do without our friends!
As you who follow us here on dotnet know, Eva lives upstairs in our condo building. Here on dotnet, going back to OCT 7, 22, we have posted many photos that Eva has sent us. Eva is currently on a three week trip back in the Eastern part of the United States visiting her children and families and many friends in Massachusetts and New York.
The time has come to share with you photos that Eva to sent us today on Saturday the 15th of October. By the way, beginning with these three photos, when we post photos that friends send us, we check with them to be sure they are OK to post. Eva texted us this afternoon, “OK everyone deserves a laugh.”
We began our day today looking at the following two photos and their accompanying text message from Eva.
“I went to my granddaughter’s hard cider plant. We are sampling the hard cider. We had a time lots of laughing and tasting cider mixes.”
Patti and I hooted and Patti and I howled with joy just looking at Eva in the tasting room drinking some hard cider. We are still chuckling.
SO we got on our mobile phones and we called Eva and told her how much joy she had brought to us !!
After we got off our phones, Eva texted us back saying, “Here is another picture it’s more extreme.”
Ah-h-h-h Yes indeed Eva, it is just a tad more extreme! And Patti and I hooted and howled over and over again!

In teeny weeny, itty bitty, small print, we make the following statement : We base this on how we have been feeling the past two full weeks. Patti and especially me, are feeling we are now, more or less, back to normal from our May 19th Covid-19 virus infection. Actually I’ve been feeling pretty darned well. No not totally 100% normal BUT our normal isn’t what it used to be but it is now our “new normal”.
