What a nice way to start a post about my second full day in Munnar than with the above photograph of the Munnar City Limit sign! The stopping-to-photograph the above sign was NOT on the tour agenda for any other tour today (or forever?) of Munnar!

First photo of hotel, upper right corner: at the top of the hotel there is a red-roofed area with the ‘walls’ appearing to be all windows. Do you know what’s up there? [inquiring minds…] :-)

HOW NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU AND TO KNOW YOU ARE STILL FOLLOWING ALONG HERE WITH US! I WILL HAVE TO EXPLORE THIS AREA. IT SHOWS UP VERY WELL IN THE PHOTOS TAKEN LOOKING AT THE ‘BACK’ OR ‘REAR’ OF THE HOTEL. THANKS FOR AN EXCELLENT QUESTION AND I WILL GET US ALL AN ANSWER! CHEERIO ! CAP ..
So up the stairs I trotted to find an ENORMOUS conference room complete with its own full-service appearing kitchen. In fact the employees were enjoying some lunch up in this area when I came up. I was asked to join them but politely declined.
THE REASON .. Mr. Johnson asked me to refrain from taking any photographs was simply because this ENORMOUS conference area was NOT spic-and-span and neat-and-tiddy according to his standards-of-excellence!

ANOTHER USE FOR MY ‘ZILLA CANE!
I did a small washing .. basically I just freshened up a shirt and small towel .. last night in my room. And I needed a little clothes-line to dry them.
‘ZILLA CANE PROUDLY TO-THE-RESCUE!
I did not use the bathroom to dry the above because my overhead-room-fan creates a wonderful breeze to assist the above to dry .. and dry-they-did .. overnight.
“Captain Oh Captain .. do you lie awake nights thinking up stuff like this?”

The below gentleman and his ‘co-horts’ who work on the tea plantations .. live in the above .. and / or similar .. facilities.

The first photo is a photo of my Internet Cafe. Do you see it to the left under its yellow sign. Please NOTICE the steps-down to the cafe’s level!
Notice .. if you will .. in the below two photos .. that the hand-rail stops short of going all-the-way down!
It is a tad difficult-to-see .. BUT IF I WERE TO LOSE MY balance and fall to the left .. it would be a very bad thing. I could also fall to my right!
It does not look-like-much BUT .. it really ‘scares’ me into being super cautious as I go up and down the above steps.
I use the old ‘iron-workers’ trick! Look carefully at your feet and concentrate on where your feet are going! I also use my ‘Zilla cane.
