DEC 18, 22 .. VERY GOOD NEWS ABOUT PATTI ..
Saturday, December 17, 2022
Last Tuesday, here at the Mayo Clinic, Patti had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I would say down the throat and up the .. .. but I won’t ! During these procedures some (I guess you call them) tissue samples from her esophagus were taken and a very small polyp was removed from her colon. The tissue samples and the polyp were submitted for a biopsy looking for signs of cancerous cells.
The results of the biopsy are back : Everything basically is O.K. Patti’s Doctor recommended routine followups.

There is a song from A Chorus line that I really love .. “What I Did For Love”
I am doing this post for love : The on-again off-again internet in our room here at our Motel 6 has again reared its challenging head. I am currently in the front office trying to finish this Post the best I can.
Today (Saturday) was a fun and busy day.
How about this : It is Christmas Season. The Saturday scene in the stores is frantic. The parking lots are frantic and jammed to capacity.
My Parking Story : The God of Parking Places Blessed me today !!
Walmart .. I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
Super Target .. Again, I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
Hobby Lobby .. Yet again, AMAZING, I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
Ace Hardware .. Yet again, AMAZING, I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
At our 4pm meeting at the NSFC .. Not quite as amazing BUT still I got the closest parking place to the entrance.
George and Son Asian Restaurant .. Again, not quite as amazing BUT still I got the closest parking place to the entrance to our restaurant.
Home Depot .. yes !! I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
Back again to Walmart .. and ? Yes ! One final time today .. You guessed it ! I got the closest parking place in the parking lot to the entrance.
GO FIGURE HUH ?

Tomorrow Sunday, Patti and I are driving to Tucson to visit Patti’s family living in Marana.
There is a lot more I could post here BUT there is simply not enough left in me to go further, especially looking at our drive to Tucson and home again. We will visit a friend in South Phoenix en route back to our motel.
So, for now, it is .. Over And Out ..
Cap and Patti
- DEC 17, 22 .. ON AGAIN .. OFF AGAIN .. TONIGHT’S INTERNET STATUS HERE AT MOTEL 6
- DEC 19, 22 .. PASSWORDS .. SOMETHING OF POSSIBLE INTEREST
Hi Cap, Hi dear Patti,
I’m very glad with the results of all the procedures. And judging by Cap’s attempt to joke about the method for the doctors to get to your, Patti, throat ☺, everything’s finished ok. Hurray!
It’s my blunder to use the word “centenarians” :-) Actually, I didn’t know the term for people who live very long life and found the word in a translator. NOW my eyes have floated out of my head when I learned about “octogenarians” ☺ Applause! There are no equivalents to THIS WORD in Russian…
BTW I’d like to wish you a nice trip to Tucson
Sincerely Yours ♥
Happy we added something to your English Vocabulary Olga ! We had a nice trip to Tucson and a WONDERFUL visit with Patti’s family for a few hours. We are blessed to be living such a good life and truly blessed to have friends like you Olga. Smiles, Cap and hugs from Patti
Good to hear Patti is in the clear.
Yes it is good BUT she is still experiencing long Covid lung (coughing up phlegm) issues. We may go to the Mayo Clinic E.R. at some point. I am very concerned.
