Searchlight, Nevada.
Today, we drove up from Laughlin, Nevada (38 miles 45 minutes) to Searchlight and explored it for the first time. Usually we stop for a rest and then continue North to Las Vegas or South to Laughlin. Today we explored Cottonwood Cove, 14 miles East of Searchlight in the Lake Mead Recreational Area. We then met friends from Las Vegas for dinner and afterwards we enjoyed one of the best meetings we have ever attended. I plan to publish photos on blogspot later.
