How many, MANY, times have I written these words : Without YOU, and all of YOUR contributions, I would not be able to keep our website active and up and running.

I closed yesterday’s Post with these words : I found my little stylus. Then later, I lost one of my favorite canes.
I will close this Post with these words : After trips back to Circle K, to Safeway, to Smith’s Foods, and to our local Subway Sandwich shop, I found my “lost” cane. It was hiding, in the rear of our Suburban!

Missing things always hide in plain sight. They do it to make you feel stupid when they reveal themselves to you.
Stupid? Blind fits a little better. Lately I can look directly at something I am trying to find and not see it! Trust me on this : I looked in the back of our Suburban not once or twice, but maybe four or five times never seeing the cane. Then, when I lifted the rear hatch door I could see its four feet looking at me. I could not, I did not see it all the times I looked for it via the two (drivers side and passenger side) rear doors. And? I had “given up” finding it when I opened the rear hatch to get something else out. Thanks Gullible .. Cap
