MAY 10, 23 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH – COVID UPDATE

Now for a report on how we two are doing with this, our third, Covid episode.

Tuesday the 8th of May 2023

I don’t feel like talking about this, our third episode with Covid-19, BUT some of you have been asking us via texting and phone calls how we are doing.

So Giddy-Up-Here-We-Go!!

Patti is feeling (and I base this not on what Patti is saying, but on what I see and how I feel about her condition) somewhat better but is still in the woods as to a full recovery. 

Last night was a very challenging night for Patti. Her nemesis insomnia once again, and it’s been happening far more often than is usual, came to visit her. I was aware early this morning around 5am that Patti was not in bed with me. When I got up at 6:15am sure enough, she had not slept and was in our living room reading. Back to bed WE the two of us went. When Patti is exhausted from an episode of insomnia, having me return to bed with her really helps her to settle. And settle WE both did! 

I made a Costco run, picked up our mail at our Post Office, shopped at Walmart, got four Wendy’s Frosty’s and came home around 4:15pm. While I was out Patti awakened and was dressed when I got home. 

Today’s Covid-19 At-Home Tests

We did our two home-tests together, about 13 minutes apart.

Patti’s Test.

Like it or don’t like it, but even the slightest line under T (Test) means one has the virus.

Patti’s test today was POSITIVE ! The T line was very faint. No matter. Patti still has the active virus.

Look below at last Saturday’s test. Wow huh? When the faint T line above is compared with the bold T line below.

Cap’s Test.

My test today, as it has been, was NEGATIVE !

You can clearly see that, even though the T line is faint, Patti’s test is POSITIVE and mine NEGATIVE with absolutely nothing under the T.

Tomorrow is another day.

Yes Oh Yes. We watched the Jeopardy Master’s Tournament, games 3 and 4. We watched some NBA Basketball. We had dinner (Patti has little or no appetite) together. I got a Post published. We are NOT sitting here “licking our wounds” ! As I write Patti is reading and surfing on her smart phone.
