JUN 22, 23 .. THE SUMMER SOLSTICE IS PAST .. WINTER SOLSTICE, HERE WE COME

On yesterday’s Post Kathleen commented as follows :

I have tried to sneak many peeks at Gullible’s posts but I can only see it for a few seconds at a time before it says it stopped loading and then disappears, leaving me with an out-of-memory error code. Sometimes if I reload and scroll very fast, I can see the next section. Rarely do I get to the end because it becomes so frustrating. I’m sure there is something wrong with my computer but it’s the only one I have. The few peeks I get are amazing. However, I am now distressed because I don’t know what happened to the swans and their babies. I pray that they are ok. And I hope the kayakers tipped and got a cold shock of water.

In Kathleen’s case, I sent her several emails so that I could at least tell her the cygnets are OK.

Gullible said: on SUNDAY I drove to the lake to check on the swans and was delighted to see tiny cygnets.

Gullilble on MONDAY: Dad takes one of the cygnets for a paddle and introduces it to their neighbors, the scaup. This is even more evidence that at least one cygnet had hatched Saturday.

IF ANY OF YOU EVER have similar problems please notify me by text, email, phone or by leaving a comment so I can at least do what I can to assist you.

Get it? Got it? Good!

ATTENTION KATHLEEN : Here is the link to Gullible’s Post about adopting an elephant. Please let me know IF this below link successfully worked for you Kathleen.

As far as I know, the swans and their cygnets are fine. They have left the nest and are staying at a far spot on the lake where no kayakers go. I haven’t been able to see how many they have.

Cap, I tested the link you provided Kathleen and it’s as stable as all-get-out! In my experience, on Kathleen’s computer if the link ‘time’s out’ arises and yet she is successful with that same link on her smartphone, then the issue obviously is on her computer. I don’t compete with Geek Squad but my experience in trouble shooting and maintaining computers parallels (or perhaps exceeds) whatever they promote. If Kathleen needs me to troubleshoot her computer have her call me. All browsers over time get clogged up with junk. Doing a full clean of ‘All cookies’ with CCleaner will not always clean a congested browser. Independently, all browsers have a ‘refresh’ tool to compensate for more mysterious problems. It helps to understand what you need to preserve before using that repair tool. Additionally every computer has a DNS cache which stores all websites and links, and that gets corrupted, and can be reset. Their are a multitude of tools and diagnostic skills I can help anyone who needs help, with. Only if they give me the time. I am always willing to help.
Love your blogs, phone calls, postcards and Little Bit and I miss you very much.
Have a Truly Blessed day-after-solstice kind of day!

Ps…Personally I rarely web surf on my smartphone. I love the freedoms of a big monitor/screen too much. I can open 15 windows and know exactly where I am and what I’m reading and surfing. lol :)

Thank you Gullible for the update on the swans and cygnets. I loved the picture of dad taking the baby out for a stroll. Using the mobile link on my laptop, I am now going to your elephant post from May 1 so I can read that story without interruption. Nayambeni is adorable!

Thank you Michael for your offer of help. I will text Cap for your number. I did try to do a deep clean with CCleaner and it didn’t help.

Kathleen, my assistance is, and has always been, given freely, and free of charge. I help because for my entire computer support career I was always given free wisdom and experience from all of those more knowledgeable than I could ever be. Thus, I promised myself that in retirement I would give my experience and time w/no compensation whatsoever. I’m paying forward all of those gifts that others so freely gave to me. :)
