JUN 21, 23 .. TODAY IS THE SUMMER SOLSTICE IN OUR NORTHERN HEMISPHERE

The Cycles of the Seasons, The Cycles of Life itself!

Up here in Alaska, today is a very special day. Our days have steadily continued to get longer and longer since last December the 21st 2022, the date of the Winter Solstice. Today they will begin to get shorter and shorter as we head for the 2023 Winter Solstice Thursday, Dec 21, 2023 at 6:27 PM.

As is always the case, Wikipedia has a lot of information about the Summer Solstice.

I have tried to sneak many peeks at Gullible’s posts but I can only see it for a few seconds at a time before it says it stopped loading and then disappears, leaving me with an out-of-memory error code. Sometimes if I reload and scroll very fast, I can see the next section. Rarely do I get to the end because it becomes so frustrating. I’m sure there is something wrong with my computer but it’s the only one I have. The few peeks I get are amazing. However, I am now distressed because I don’t know what happened to the swans and their babies. I pray that they are ok. And I hope the kayakers tipped and got a cold shock of water.

Hi Kathleen !! First I sent you two emails. One has the Gullible link in the email. Try that link. Also try this link for Gullible : http://gullible-gulliblestravels.blogspot.com/ . Kathleen I also send you an email with a copy of part of Gullible’s Post that says : SUNDAY: I drove to the lake to check on the swans and was delighted to see tiny cygnets. MONDAY: Dad takes one of the cygnets for a paddle and introduces it to their neighbors, the scaup. This is even more evidence that at least one cygnet had hatched Saturday.

Hope you are now OK Kathleen. Thanks for letting me know of your difficulty Kathleen. Cap
