JUL 7, 23 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH .. MORE MEMORIES OF MONGOLIA

Thursday Evening, July the 6th 2023

As I write this Post on Thursday evening, it is now tomorrow, Friday afternoon in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of A.A. in Mongolia is now well underway.

Because all of the events and speakers will be speaking either Mongolian or Russian, Patti and I have opted to not join the on line streaming of the events via Zoom.

If you have not read yesterday’s Post, we published the below JUL 5, 23, Post about it on blogspot.

Just sitting here in Anchorage thinking about it, sure brings back a lot of memories about Mongolia!

In yesterday’s Post here on dotnet, we showed some scenes of downtown Ulaanbaatar, the Capital City of Mongolia.

We two also did a lot of traveling on the Mongolian highways.

We smile as we look at the above photos thinking of all of our fond and happy memories of our time spent in Mongolia.

Thank you both for posting your thoughts and pictures of your daily and previous excursions! I’m not a big Denny’s fan but they will fill the bill when I’m hungry and in a hurry! I usually take advantage of their free breakfast to all veterans (and always leave a more than generous tip! I feel service workers don’t get the appreciation and tips they most assuredly have worked hard to please most!) And the scrambled eggs, pancakes and your mention of 16 mini packages of syrup is right down my alley! And the wild rose are breathtakingly beautiful! I wonder if an Anchorage citizen will plunder the soon-to-be rose hips? Great source of tea and Vit-C!
Thanks for the colorful memories of your travels in Mongolia, it’s stark beauty and it’s beautiful people. You both are one of ’em!
    Have a Truly Blessed Day!

Thanks Michael for your comment. I had no idea that Denny’s gives free breakfasts to all veterans. I will have to check that out for sure. Both Patti and I are so very happy that you enjoy our efforts here on dotnet Michael. We sure have a lot of memories of Mongolia and Russian Siberia as well. Cap and Patti
