All over a large area, the Dream Cruise Vehicles were on display in front of many local business establishments.
Just out “Cruising”!
Very traditional but classic too. A Ford Thunderbird in the background and Two Shelby Ford Cobras in lower foreground!
From all that I have heard, the 2023 Dream Cruise was a big success.
Oh By The Way. Back in the 2014 Dream Cruise, I published two hundred and fifty seven (257) photos of the Dream Cruise as compared to the relatively few you saw in yesterday’s Post. Little did Patti and I ever realize that would be our only Dream Cruise together in this lifetime.

Well, that was fun. I have a question about your black Suburban. In the photo above the hood looks pristine, but in photos you took in Arizona the hood paint looks sun-baked, peeling, and dull.
Will the real black Suburban please stand up?

Exhibit Number One. Our 1998 GMC Suburban we call “Black Beauty” as he looked in August of year 2014.
Exhibit Number Two. Our 1998 GMC Suburban we call “Black Beauty” as he looked in March of year 2023, after about five years or so of baking in the Nevada sun. We leave Black Beauty with Tom and Ginny in Nevada year-round so we can use him in Arizona in the winter.

Well, there is indeed much to say! From the Woodward Dream Cruise, amazing classic cars, to yummy Michigan tomatoes and corn, my dear Tom is up in Michigan at the right time! And yes, your “black beauty” is a twitch faded in our NV triple digit Temps and abundant sunshine 🌞, I did have a lovely reprieve from heat and air conditioning as we experienced some much needed rain and I was able to open our windows for 3 full DAYS!!! And, last but definitely NOT LEAST, my adorable precious Evvy, I certainly am a blessed gal!! Thanks as always for sharing in our joys!! Smiles, hugs, love and prayers, Ginny ❤️
Thanks Ginny for a great comment. Thanks to both you and Tom for your continued support with photos and comments. They really help a lot. How nice you got a 3 day break from the severe heat that you have been experiencing at times this summer! THREE days that you could open up your windows! That is great. Having actually lived full time in Phoenix back in 1964-65, I really understand a break from the air conditioning. Yes Black Beauty and his paint seems to have felt the heat over these past several years down there beginning in 2017 and continuing forward to this summer. Smiling with Thanks .. Cap and Patti
