Michael 86403, sent us three great photos of the “Super Blue Moon” that was visible this past Wednesday at 9:30pm Eastern Daylight Time.
Not only was it a Blue Moon, that is, the second full moon in the same calendar month, but it was also a Supermoon.
A Supermoon is a full or a new moon rising near or when the moon reaches its perigee, its closest distance to Earth in its orbit around the planet.

I’m glad you finally got on the Kroger/Fred Meyer gas wagon. Dave and I have been getting our gas there for several years now. No more lines at Costco, and cheaper than Costco if you buy your groceries at Fred Meyer/Kroger stores. We usually get close to $1.00 off a gallon.

I had known for years about Kroger because of growing up in Michigan, which IS Kroger country! But then it takes some skill to really maximize fuel points. Smiles.. Cap and Patti

Cap, thanks for posting the Super Blue Moon pics. As I may have notated on texting I took a total of 7 still pics and 3-4 vids and posted them also to FB which must have a ginormous bank of servers bigger than the smallest of countries to save the amt. of data that they do! The camera I used is a Nikon P900 and when purchased 5-6yrs ago they claimed it offered the highest zoom rating for the average consumer market. It claims to have 86x zoom clicks. If anyone is interested I suggest you Youtube it.
And in reference to today’s Kroger points…I started out this a.m. doing the online survey = 50pts. At the mailbox this afternoon there was an enclosed offer to get Kroger’s ‘Boost’ for the 1st yr. FREE! BOOM! Done! Along with other benefits it allows a 2x all daily purchases. As I went grocery shopping just a while ago I had ‘clipped’ their 4x purchase coupon. I didn’t have a big shopping list and all of my items (with other holiday special coupons) only totaled approx. $57. So after all the math and bonus addon’s totaled I wound up with 549 Fuel Points for the 1st day of Sept. Not bad for an ol’ bargain hunter, eh? lol
