Butting in out of context here. I’m home, safe and as sound as can be expected. I have a cold, saddle sores, and eight or nine new insect bites from my last night in Brazil. Right now, I have a date with a bottle of Nyquil.

Now some details.
It’s all about “Yesterday’s Newspaper”. You know, the one that we very seldom, if ever, go back and re-read.
Rhetorical Question : Captain? Why, on this good earth, are you driving back to The Thai Orchid Restaurant to shoot more photos? Nobody cares Captain!
Answer : Because I care!
Last night, the outdoor photos that I snapped of The Thai Orchid, were dark because they were taken in the dark. But they were the best I could do last night. So back I went today and did a daytime exterior photo shoot.
And? I “edited” today’s Post, OCT 11, 23, and updated it showing several daytime photos of The Thai Orchid.

I heard rumors here in Anchorage today. So I called Bea in Manley Hot Springs..
“Bea, I heard it has really snowed up in Manley!”
“Yes Cap we have snow! It began about a week ago!”

Winter IS coming to the far North!

11:04pm (2304 hours) late Wednesday Evening, October the 11th 2023
Our first winter snow, here in Anchorage, has arrived.
Will the snow stay? We doubt it! BUT, none the less, it will remain our very first snow of Winter 2023 – 24.
