NOV 4, 23 .. GUEST CONTRIBUTORS.. OH MY YES.. THANK YOU

A Post Out Of Thin Air. A Gift From The Universe. All thanks toYOU.

Yes!

Oh Yes!

As in Yes Indeed! Oh My Oh My! I am “reaching deep” to get going here and VOILA!a thought came to me!

Publish a photo of our Evvy that I just now discovered that I had missed posting back on October the 13th when Ginny sent it to us.

Taa – Daa, below is our very, VERY, photogenic Miss Evvy. A great photo!

A “too-nice-to-miss-posting photo!”

“Thanks Cap and Patti. I was having another phenomenal day when Mom and Dad snapped this shot!” /signed/ Evvy

Then here comes Gullible rolling in with a great email photo.

Her email was titled : They Are Everywhere!

It IS true Gullible ! Subway IS everywhere (or so it seems).

Gullible wrote : Photo taken in Bonita, Mata Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

Ask our Ginny about Subway!

Below you see the beautiful Colorado River as it passes Laughlin, Nevada, and Bullhead City, Arizona.

Ginny had a thought : “What a great place to have a Subway Sandwich with a friend!”

Hummm. Get this fact .. Ginny sent Evvys above photo to me on October 13th. Then Ginny sent the above Subway Sandwich By The Colorado River photos, to me on October the 14th. What was I doing back then to “miss publishing these photos?”

“It was meant to be!”

“Who said that?”

Well Hello Kathleen! How very nice of you to join in here with your Halloween Photo!

Kathleen coined the term I am using here on dotnet ..  “A Gift From The Universe”.

How true Kathleen. How very true.

Wow! Wowie! A Post has suddenly materialized.

The below photo, sent by Danny 48073 is so sweet that I nearly published it in a “One Photo Post”.

Hello Patrick!

Danny is a career (33 years and counting) United Parcel Service (UPS) driver. Go Brown! Evidently young Patrick “Idolizes Danny as his UPS hero!”

This Post is all thanks toYOU.

Cap and Patti

I am writing this Post Friday Evening, November the 3rd.

Gratitude.

This IS Gratitude.

Thank Goodness That Last Nights below Weather Report was AN ABSOLUTELY RESOUDING MISS!

Today it was dark. Today it was overcast. BUT at no time did we have any Freezing Rain.

Today Patti and I had a “slew of things we had to do” and I was dreading driving all over town in Freezing Rain. We both had Medical appointments with our ophthalmologist (read our Eye Doctor who seriously dilated the pupils of both of our eyes), Banking business at two banks, a Library visit, off to the Post Office to check our mail and to wait in line to mail a calendar, two shopping trips to Fred Meyer and a trip to Costco, Wendy’s to buy Frostys (and I may have missed something).

No Freezing Rain! No driving around town with seriously dilated the pupils of both of our eyes!

A Gift From The Universe? We’ll take it. No questions asked.

Thanks for all of the updates snapshots and weather reports, dear Cap!
And the wonderful news that both of you are well recovered from the effects of the latest booster shot. And you can surmise the glorious weather we’re having here in Lake Havasu from Tom’s share. The fellowship here is in the middle of our annual roundup, Miracle on the River, hosted at our large aquatic center. Always fun to meet new friends and refresh relationships with old and new! I intend on receiving my booster and flu shots sometime early next week so I hopefully don’t have to be dealing with Booster shots after effects when you and Patti arrive! lol
I’m off to chair another marathon meeting at the roundup.
    Have a Truly Blessed weekend!
    Michael

Thanks Ginny so very much for all of your input. Soon Evvy will be 6 months of age. Time flies. We needed the blessing of the mild weather. Happy you enjoy our efforts Ginny. Cap and Patti

I am so glad the weather was in your favor. Definitely a gift from the Universe. Glad you made it through all those errands even with dilated eyes. I so hate having my eyes dilated but that is a Gold plated problem to have. I love the mini UPS driver. So adorable. I don’t get any trick or treaters at my house anymore which makes me sad as I love seeing the kids in their costumes. But this year, I was fortunate to see a lot of friends of Bill W in their costumes. Some were rather terrifying. I love to see adults come out and play. Enjoy your Frosty! (Now I want one but do I want it bad enough to drive to Wendys…. Maybe…Probably! We shall see. I might raid the cabinets for chocolate instead.)

Kathleen we sure “needed” a mild day with NO freezing rain and we got it! We had one (one mind you) Halloween visitor, the daughter of our upstairs neighbor. So we too miss seeing a small armada of kits all dressed up for Halloween. We buy eight (8) Frostys at a time and put them in the freezer. They keep well and we nibble on them each evening after dinner. So they last awhile for us. Patrick, our mini UPS Driver, is precious isn’t he! Thanks Kathleen for your interest and your comment. And for YOUR Halloween photo contribution! Cap and Patti
