NOV 5, 23 .. SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR.. STANDARD TIME RETURNS..

Now we think, but we are not quite 100% positive that, without Ginny’s help, we would have figured out “on our own” that Standard Time was to return today.

BUT Ginny “sealed the deal” with the below information she texted to us.

How about the below coaching?

Here is one “Atta Girl” for you Ginny!

Tom and Ginny live in Nevada, across the Colorado River from Arizona. From early March until early November the two states have the same time.

So from early November to early March, when Standard Time returns, all the people living in Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada, deal with two different times of day.

“Ours and theirs”.

Patti and I experience this one hour time difference when we are staying at the Edgewater Hotel in Laughlin, Nevada. Basically all of our shopping is done in Bullhead City, Arizona. So we are constantly (at least in our heads) doing a “what time is it here and there”. Sometimes we miss and arrive at a store after it has closed! The same for meetings, the Post Office, etc.

If we are shopping at Sam’s Club in Bullhead City, AZ, and we are meeting Tom and Ginny over in Laughlin, NV, we have to be sure of their time.

Also our smart phones are constantly going back and forth as we drive over the bridge crossing the Colorado River going from Nevada to Arizona and returning.

Ginny, as usual, taught us the solution to this issue. You access your smart phone “Settings”, go down to General Management, then click onto date and time, then finally turn off your Automatic date and time.

You then set your smart phone on the time you want. Arizona or Nevada.

Did all of you get that? There will be a test tomorrow!

VOILA! We are now back on Standard Time!

Weather Report for Laughlin, Nevada. NO snow!

Tom advised us that, although it looks “kind of, sort of, like snow” it is NOT snow out there in the Laughlin, Nevada, desert, it is sand!

That’s all Captain?

Am I forgetting something?

Got it!

It’s football Sunday!

We plan to watch one afternoon game today. We have no choice as to what game we get to see, but today our game just so happens to be a good game to be able to watch.

The Dallas Cowboys (5-2) visit Philadelphia to play their Division Rivals the Eagles (7-1) in an important game in the NFC Eastern Division.

Now it’s Over And Out Time.

Cap and Patti
