IF it continues, and it very well may continue, the next snow we get will remain on the ground for the duration of the winter.

Down in Arizona where we stay, Lake Havasu City, the temperature is currently in the 100°F temperature range. Far, FAR warmer than we like, so we will continue to remain here in Anchorage into November.

I have deliberately stopped discussing our day to day activities here on dotnet. Who cares? Not one of us is getting a “free ride” in this life. All of we “Seniors” have medical issues and appointments ad nauseum!

BUT ! 

Sharing the below information could possibly assist someone who might experience the same after effects that Patti and I had as the result of a Moderna Booster shot this past Thursday the 19th of October.

This past Thursday the 19th, for the first time in just a few days less than a full year, both of us got Moderna Covid Vaccine Booster shots.

And?

The after effects, that began several hours after we received the booster shots, have been extremely challenging to put it mildly! Far and away the worst ever for the two of us!

For me my left shoulder, the shoulder where my vaccine was injected, “took a hit”. Pain and discomfort almost as severe as when I fell in Manley Hot Springs back in September of 2020 and hit my right shoulder against the running board of the Suburban.

How do you explain a Covid Vaccine after effect that attacks your musculoskeletal system? Bones, muscles and joints make up the musculoskeletal system.

Patti has experienced challenging sleep issues (she did not get any sleep Thursday night) and we slept Friday until past 3pm. At best Patti feels “punky”, but also says her right shoulder and arm, where she got the shot, feels like she was slammed into a concrete wall.

Interesting! Each of us have pain and challenges in our shoulder joints in the upper arm in which we received our booster shots. My left shoulder (my booster shot was in my upper left arm) and her right shoulder (her booster shot was in her upper right arm).

And?

We are confident that “this too shall pass” BUT next year we may think twice about another booster shot.

Friday was a brilliant, stunningly sunny and bright day in spite of how we were feeling!! 

Today’s Rhetorical Question : I don’t know what you Major League Baseball fans make of the Playoffs this year! Of the six teams that won their Division Championships, five of the six did not make it to the League Championship Series!
