Thursday Evening November 16th 2023
Today’s Post was titled : NOV 16, 23 .. THURSDAY.. WE ARE “SUPPOSED TO HEAD TO LAKE HAVASU CITY TOMORROW”
Then I explained that we MUST get our truck Thursday the 16th or else we will have to stay over the weekend here at The Edgewater. It would be totally, 100% impossible to get it Friday morning and check out by 12 noon.
Did we get our Suburban back today Thursday?

Tom and I picked up Black Beauty from the shop this (Thursday) afternoon. So (as you read it today Friday) Patti and I will now head for Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and our “Winter Home”.

In the above and below photos, notice that all of the parking places in front of and close to the hotel entrance are occupied.
I always, in all ways, strive to get one of these front parking places on the day we leave. No luck here Pocahontas!
So out and off Patti and I headed for Sam’s Club in Bullhead City, AZ. Black Beauty was parked in the far away parking area off to the left and out of view from our window.
As we two left the main, front entrance to The Edgewater, I exclaimed to Patti ! .. “Look Patti. Parking Place two is open! Please stand here in front of it to hold it while I get Black Beauty. Sam’s Club will be there tomorrow! We must get this front parking place!”
And! Voila! Success! We got the second parking place.
Voila! Do you all see Black Beauty in Parking Place Number two?
The sun set and out and off I went in the dark of night to get us a Subway Sandwich for dinner. As I stepped out the front door of the Edgewater, Whoa! Parking Place number one was open! In front of the now vacant Parking Place One, I set down a suitcase I was carrying to put into Black Beauty. I stood there holding the place, called Patti and asked Patti to bring me the keys to Black Beauty. When Patti got to me I moved Black Beauty into the prime Parking Place One.
Wowie! Zounds! Parking Place One for Black Beauty. Prime spot for loading us out of here!
Did I get to our local Subway Sandwich Shop across the street?
Tom, take your money to the Bank.

Friday the 17th of November 2023
Patti and I have to check out of the Edgewater by 11am. We will then go across the Colorado River to Bullhead City, Arizona, and shop at Sam’s Club. We also may stop at a Walmart (there are two of them) in the extreme South end of Bullhead City, AZ.
En route South we will also stop at the shop where Black Beauty was repaired this past week. I really liked the staff there. They really treated me well!

It is a week before Thanksgiving.
Christmas has arrived here at The Edgewater Casino Hotel.

I was wondering about that prime parking spot so you could load your belongings up, yay God is good in all the details, truck repaired in time and prime parking a s well! So great to see you and Patti off this morning, much love and joy as you make your way to Lake Havasu ❤️
Yes Oh Yes Ginny. Getting the Number One Parking Place is really something. As is how it transpired. First getting Number Two THEN Number One! Too much.
