Ginny sent us two additional photos of Evvy turning 6 months of age yesterday, November the 17th.
There is a “Rest Of The Story” to Evvy turning 6 months.
Little Evvy “picked up a bug” in Day Care! Evvy and her mom got really sick with colds, coughs and congestion.
Despite Evvy being ill, she was still smiling in her 6 month onesie!

A LITTLE BIT OF THIS ..
As we were leaving The Edgewater this past Friday, the Holiday Decorations Crew were hard at work.
The Christmas Tree ornaments have reappeared in the entrance area.
The “Rest Of The Story”. I was going in and out, back and forth, loading our luggage into our Suburban. The below lads completely blocked the automatic entrance doors and I had to struggle opening, holding open, and getting our bags out to our truck. Luckily some very nice Edgewater guests assisted me several times.
The good news. I was successful and, despite some delays because of the automatic doors being shut down, we checked out 1/2 hour early at 10:30am.

No I did NOT forget that today is week number 11 of 18 in the 2023 season.
Patti and I do not plan to watch any games today. We have far .. as in FAR .. too much else to do today.

Monday! The “Super Bowl 2022” rematch. The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs.
OH YES !
Patti, Michael, Little Bit and yours truly will be watching over at Michaels home!

Saturday November 18th, 2023
We both are very fatigued from all of the events of the past week. Not to mention some “Jet Lag” which is real. Today was a challenge. We are about 60% moved in and organized. We attended our Saturday Night Speaker Meeting and saw many friends we haven’t seen in 6+ months. We got yet another Subway Sandwich. We have renewed our Circle K Sip and Save membership. We topped off our Subway sandwich with a Blue Rasberry Froster from Circle K.

My Seahawks had everything going for them and were ahead of the LA Rams in the third quarter, 16-7. Then QB Gino Smith suffered and injured elbow and went out. The Rams retuned in the 4th Quarter and went ahead 17-16. Gino came back in for the final plays with under 2 minutes and no timeouts, drove the team within field goal range, but a 55-yard field goal missed. Rams won.
Plus, you got out of Dodge just in time. 12 below zero here today.
It has been a crazy season. The Seahawks win and they would’ve been tied for 1st place in the NFC West. Nice Gino Smith was able to come back for a late and good drive. You better believe we got out of Dodge just in time. On Monday the 13th we were lucky to get out due to a 9 inch snowfall that night. Thanks for your comment. Cap and Patti
I don’t know how you get your internet down there but if it’s very good, as you say, you can subscribe to streaming services and see any game you want. If you’re going to be there all winter, it might be worth it to you. Streaming service HULU that I use carried just about everything–sports, news channels, movies, TV programs, etc. You can carry that subscription back to Alaska, if you want, or cancel it when you leave there. What does Michael use?
Yes, you have to pay extra, but since you enjoy sports so much….well.
Thanks Gullible. I know about the streaming services. In fact at one time I actually subscribed (on a free trial basis) to HULU. I simply could NOT satisfactorily navigate it Gullible. Why I don’t know as I wanted specifically to watch Survivor shows and simply could NOT NOT NOT get it to function. Go figure. Again thanks for your suggestion. Cap
