JAN 4, 23 .. WHAT CAPTAIN IS IT THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND?

Lately I seem to have a recurring theme here on dotnet. I keep mentioning that I am not getting to bed as early as I would like.

In a perfect world, I would like to be “in bed with my lights out” by 11pm.

In a less than perfect world, I would like to be “in bed with my lights out” by 12am midnight.

Captain!!?? What exactly don’t you understand!??

When you sit down here at your laptop at 11:46pm (a bit earlier actually) how do you expect to be “in bed with my lights out” earlier than 1am? It just ain’t agonna happen Captain!

Well I always have some “excuse or other”.

Tonight’s Excuse : When I sat down much earlier around 9pm to write this Post, instead I wrote and I published a Post on blogspot about today’s rain here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. To see it click onto the below link.

Of course I know the answer!

On any given day, just do one Post and let that be it!

But in reality this would apply to today (right now) making the only purpose of this Post be to provide those of you who don’t check dotnet each and every day with a link to blogspot (Google Blogger).

FASCINATING TIDBITS FROM FROSTBITE FRANK

Thank you all for your interest and blessings in my travels! I really  appreciate your kindness – I feel like I’ve been adopted by people I admire.

The days are long here in Costa Rica, so I’ve been going to bed around 8pm. The mornings are coolest (way down around 82-84) so I get up early. By 4:00pm it is too hot to do anything, so I just sit under the fan and wait until it’s late enough to try to sleep. Last night I didn’t even bother making dinner – it was so hot that the thought of firing up my hotplate convinced me to skip it.

I leave San José, Costa Rica, at 6:13am this upcoming January 6, spend the night in Panama City, and land in San Diego at 3pm on the 7th. I have 3 medical appts a day on the 8th & 9th, then leave for Italy on the 10th.

I texted Frank saying what a schedule!! He replied!!

How so? I land, pick up a rental car drive to the home of my closest friends, have dinner, sleep, and have my medical appointments with 2-3 hours between, followed by a small dinner party. Next day 2 medical appointments 2 hours apart, with a third medical appointment sometime later that afternoon (Doctor has to wait for diagnosis that morning before scheduling). Wednesday afternoon I return the car and fly somewhere over the rainbow to Italy.

My only worry is getting to the airport in Panama City at 4am.
