JAN 6, 24 (1/2) .. MORE FUN TODAY

Thanks to Forbes Magazine advertising I discovered the below photos. They sure are special and a lot of fun to peruse.

Don’t worry Mom. I will protect you!

Yes you are handsome.

How do we work this out?

Go where Mom? We are warmer when we stay huddled together.

I see you!

Wow! Your baby is bigger than I am!

Thanks Forbes Magazine!

Brilliant photos, and yes I too had to wade through all the (relentless) ads. I could look at the 2 posts all day.
It snowed again, and will be a clear day today. Down at the barn the horses are all fluffy with their winter coats. It’s going to be cold later this week, and we’ll get some more subzero temps. Nothing the warm fire can’t cure.
    Enjoy the NFL this weekend!

Happy you noticed the endless ads in the Forbes magazine wildlife photo Kit. Now I KNOW it was NOT my imagination. You ARE experiencing winter for sure. One NFL game for us Sunday, Buffalo vs Miami IN Miami. Smiles .. Cap and Patti

I love the joy and innocence of the Forbes pics. I browse many tech sites that will most often post award winning photos of wildlife, nature, man and machines! Back in the day a friend worked for years as a photo journalist for National Geographic and he invited us over to view some of his many slides of his expeditions to Africa, capturing both wildlife and the indigenous people and their traditional lifestyles and clothing. It was breathtaking!
Yesterday Charlie and I walked Little Bit on our route along the Channel and under the London Bridge. Yes, the skies yesterday were clear blue and winds had subsided (for a while, anyways!). Charlie, fresh off the plane from Soldotna, AK feels like we are living in a tropical paradise! He wore a T-shirt and jeans all day! Me, having lived here 10-11yrs felt like it was going to snow and was dressed like I was heading to Prudhoe Bay! lol
I introduced Charlie to his first adventures of E-bikes. I have two, he rode the larger one and we biked around the ‘island’ a few laps, then past English Village, inside and out of the London Bridge Hotel and then down to Rotary Park all the way to Skateboard facility! I was a good workout! Later we drove ye ol’ Honda down to Havasu Springs Resort for a Fri. Fish Friday! It is the special of the day and sells for $7.95! Great fish and chips but was a fish from Viet Nam that was tasty but I won’t opt for it next time. I will go back though as the Hostess with the most-est caught my attention! And towards the end of our dinner she made a special trip to come over and chat with us for a length of time. Yes, dessert is was! Egads! And I’m probably old enough to be her daddy! lol
And we finished the evening with dropping by Fellowship Hall and taking in the 7pm mtg. Good for the soul, albeit a small number of folks as many from the rooms are over in Laughlin for the River Roundup. That finishes this evening.
Our plans today are to show Charlie Havasu Landing, the ferry, and the casino/hotel and dine for a mid-afternoon lunch!
And walk Little Bit soon, this a.m.
Perhaps we’ll meet up with you and Patti this evening.
And you know my dental needs are parallel to yours! They’re very distracting and inconvenient!
    Have a Truly Blessed Day!
    Love you both,
    Michael

PS…were ran to Smiths at 8:30pm and drove two cars, filled the tanks and did some quick shopping. Charlie used my tele# for his purchase of gift cards and bought a few essentials + Amazon gift cards and my point total sits at 1137! Whoa, and only the beginning of the monthly shopping quest! lol

It’s a small wonder we two did not see you at Smith’s Saturday evening. We were there at the same time. My fuel point total is now 1065, not far behind you Michael. This is an important fuel point month for us. We will be driving to Phoenix and back in February and do a lot of driving while there. So my January fuel points will be of great benefit. Smiles ..
