MAR 4, 24 .. LET’S HAVE SOME FUN..

When I wrote yesterday’s Post Saturday night, I was absolutely amazed at how fast the Motel 6 Internet was. It was as-good-as-it-gets.

Now on Sunday night I am writing this Monday March 4th Post, and it is agonizingly slow and challenging and from time to time I get “dropped”. But so far I am “staying the course”.

Do you remember the absolute, unbridled joy in the below photos.

Patti loves Butterflies or “Flutterbyes” as she likes to call them. One of our best friends sent Patti some butterflies.

Love the little boy, standing up on a box, for his butterfly photo.

Pure joy!

Such fun!

Thank you our guest contributor. Today is another very important day for you! Good luck, prayers, hopes, and best wishes!

Sunday, March the 3rd

Today was a low key day. Basically we two rested up from the drive yesterday. We visited with a friend on the way to our 5:30pm meeting and after the meeting we  were planning on getting another Shamrock Shake at our local McDonald’s. When we got there we were told “Our milkshake machine is broken and we have NO milkshakes.”

Then we drove to Asian Wei for Chinese food. CLOSED!

So off to Subway we went for a Tuna Footlong. As we pulled away from our Subway I said to Patti, “We are going to another McDonald’s at 7th Avenue and Union Hills and we are getting a Shamrock Shake. We really enjoyed it . I snapped the below photo of their new T-Shirts.

Go figure! McDonald’s! WcDonald’s!

I am calling it a day. Lucky to get this much posted tonight.

BTW Today, Monday the 4th, is a most important day for Patti at the Mayo Clinic. For 18 years now Patti has been experiencing lower back pain. So far, going back several years, even the Mayo Clinic hasn’t solved this challenge for Patti. So we’ll see what we see today. Our most modern medical science hasn’t solved all human medical issues.

Endless prayers for Patti. Praying her team does come with a solution, ‘fer sure. I most definitely can relate to near 20yrs of non-stop back, sciatic pain and foot neuropathy. Still, our positive attitude and sharing our ESH with others is the best Rx to temporarily alleviate the relentless attack on our physical shell. Sending big, yet gentle cyber ((Hugs!))
Love ya both to the moon…and back! lol

Again .. Thank you so very much Michael for your support and caring and prayers. We’ll take today one step at a time. It’s a bit surreal to now be experiencing THE DAY we have been proceeding towards. Again thank you Michael. Patti and Cap

Potatoes!!! WHAT PATTI AND MICHAEL NEED ARE POTATOES! AN old Sourdough here in Moose Pass told us that he always carried a small potato in his pocket and that it relieved his pains. He said he couldn’t pick up a cup of coffee until he started the potato thing and now he could. At 67 years old, he could still do a one-armed pushup, grasp a sharp toothpick between his teeth, and rise to the push up position.

He told many tourists who came to his grocery/gas station and he had scads of letters telling him how potatoes relieved their pains.

I figured, what the heck? I had sciatica pains and even if it was a mind-over-matter thing, I could do with some pain relief. I selected the smallest potato I could find–smaller than a golf ball–and after a week so the pain was gone. Then, one day it came back.

Well, this potato doesn’t work, I figured. I reached for the back pocket of my jeans and it was gone. I carried a potato for years after that. If they start getting mushy, get another. They eventually get flat and hard as a rock. Time for a new one.

I flew to San Francisco without a potato and all that sitting aggravated the sciatica again. Got a potato and all was well. Mind-over-matter? Who cares as long as the pain is gone.

Well Gullible! Patti will soon consult with her Mayo Clinic Doctor about the efficacy of “The Potato Solution” to her aching back. Smiling with Thanks. Cap and Patti
