MAR 21, 24 .. WHAT’S MY STRATEGY.. THANKS OLGA.. THANKS GINNY..

WHAT’S MY STRATEGY here this late Wednesday evening to get myself going?

Hop On Board!

Do I attempt to begin here with something that “I think” (fully knowing I know nothing about what anyone else is thinking!) will be of interest then..

Switch to what I think I am going to Post..

From Olga

Cap, Dear!
I don’t think you should worry your Posts aren’t read. 🤗 I can’t say for others, but I ALWAYS find your Posts INTERESTING and EVEN THOUGHT PROVOKING to sharing some of my thoughts and experiences. The problem is that I’m sometimes so EMOTIONALLY tired with my teaching that I can’t produce any tiny emotion any more🤪 Whereas your Posts and of those who contribute into your blog are SO INTERESTING, sometimes EXCITING or TOUCHING that I read your pages like a novel! And I’m always pity if miss some pages 😥
So then when I have spare time I go to your blog and READ it BACKWARD and leave my comments (I’m sure you’re notified of them)☺️ It is not less charming that reading FORWARD 🤗
LOVE YOU BOTH ❤️❗

Patti and me with Olga (front row on the right) back in the Spring of 2019 in Chita, Russian Siberia, with a “Room full of Friends”.

Thanks so very much Olga.

I wonder IF any of you know “Just what it takes” to get images from Olga via WhatsApp into a Post here!

Or do I begin with what I am (more or less) planning to do?

My long ago High School Buddy (September 1950 to June 1954) Hugh Connors would say, “Cap! Whang It!”

Patti is in our bedroom thinking, “I can tell! It’s very quiet out in the living room! Cap has gotten himself started on a Post!”

Do you realize that this year is our 70th High School Graduation Anniversary!

Ginny! Bless You Ginny! YOU CARE!

Translation .. Yesterday, was Wednesday.  So? In my Post yesterday (about Lake Havasu) because it was a Wednesday, Ginny was surprised that I said not one single word about it being Survivor Night.

So yesterday Ginny texted me..

Lovely post Patti and Cap on beautiful Lake Havasu great pics, but surprisingly no mention on your favorite show survivor, so this is your reminder, just in case you got your days mixed up, heehee! Happy survivor viewing 👀📺

Here we go Ginny with some Survivor photos.

Jeff Probst has been THE MAN on the Survivor Show from the beginning way back on May 31st, 2000!

Some “contests” on recent shows including yesterday! Do you all see Jeff in the below photo.

Oh Trust Me, these Survivor Challenges are NOT for the “Faint of Heart”!

    Cap, Patti!
    Big hello to you!
I am in the last week of a three-month academic term full of trial exams, exam prep webinars and DREAMS in which … I’m missing the test once again! A nightmare!
I’ll be asleep in a week… three days, without pulling my nose out from under the covers! Hooray!!!
Your WhatsApp message directed me to the wonderful page of your website and there!….. I got a fair amount of energy, which I didn’t have enough to bring and complete the term with a twinkle in my eyes!
Wow! What is it?! In the photo, my friends and colleagues, whom we met, who listened to you, Cap, Patti, as they say, with their mouths open! Someone to hear how to walk a sober path, and someone to hear a foreign language from a native speaker.
Cap, Patti, you have played a HUGE ROLE in how the lives of all of us who met you have changed. Decisions were made, situations were assessed, and warnings for the future were received…. as in my case.
The fact that you appeared in my life and saved my family cannot be overestimated…
I love you, I hug you tightly, I hope to meet you again (at least somewhere!…)
    Be healthy ♥

Thank You Olga so very much for your amazing comment. It sounds as if you are under a lot of stress and tension and perhaps this will end shortly. We certainly hope so. Your recurring nightmare that you are missing the test once again. I have heard there is a type of dream called “examination dreams” and that they are clearly connected to stress. Your nightmare sounds like one in this category. It’s like we were “just in Chita” and it has been five years now Olga. Your Allies .. Cap and Patti

Yes, five years ago. And it seems as if it were no more than a week ago 😁 Zhenya, Yulya and my colleagues and students remember those meetings and always ask me about you. They say you are amazing 🤩
