Frostbite Frank, the one, the only, Our friend, Our Ally, has surfaced.
In his below message he said he hasn’t heard from us and then points out that, “I haven‘t written because every day has been like every other day, except for the weather and which meeting I attend.” So we haven’t heard from him either.

Hi Cap and Patti!
I haven’t heard from you in weeks! I hope all is well with you.
I am entering my last week at the farm in Ostuni. I haven‘t written because every day has been like every other day, except for the weather and which meeting I attend in the evening. I walk the dogs for a mile or 1 – 1/2 miles every morning and 2-3 miles in the afternoon (unless it rains), I make vegetable-rich stir fries and eat them over pasta or Italian rice, I read, and I sleep 10 hours.
I am deep into the intermediate section of my Italian language app, but with no one to converse with I’m still at the newcomer level. It is as though a dump truck backed up and deposited several hundred Italian words in a pile. I have to sort through it picking out the ones I need, then arrange them into a sentence. I am embarrassed by my inadequacy.
My only trip away from the farm (besides grocery shopping) was a trip a couple of weeks ago to Bari, 40 miles away, to see Madama Butterfly. It was wonderful!
What are you two doing now? I hope your health is good and you are enjoying life.

Below are Frank’s immediate travel plans.
After leaving the farm he has been visiting in Ostuni, Italy..
From March the 27th to April the 10th, Frank will do some touring in Italy.
Then from April the 10th to April the 15th Frank has medical appointments in La Jolla, California.
Then Frank is off to San Pancho, Mexico, from April the 15th to May the 1st.
THEN! Oh Sigh!
From May 1st to June the 1st, he will return to La Jolla, California, and will have surgery to install a new shoulder.
It was really great to hear from Frank! I will ask him to send us some photos.

Our Michigan State (East Lansing, MI) Spartans won their first game (69 – 51) and Our Oakland University (Rochester suburban Detroit, MI) pulled one of the great upsets in the history of March Madness by beating Kentucky (80 – 76).
