On Monday, July the 15th, 2024, I returned to this Post and revised it a little because it is the “Flagship Post” of our National Today Posts.

Today, March the 23rd, I just happened to find a website that was very interesting to me.

So I began to explore it. Little did I know, little did I suspect just where this was going to lead us! I began pulling on a short-thread-of-knowledge.  I quickly came to realize that I was pulling on an extremely long thread with no real idea as to how long the little thread was!

I quickly assigned it a Category Name .. National Today..

Wowie Huh? Whodda Thunk?? What on earth is National Today?

See for yourselves.

A few.. Of our favorites..

MARCH 23rd is ..

National Puppy Day

Prepare yourselves for an overdose of cuteness, because March 23 is National Puppy Day! Established in 2006, National Puppy Day is a paw-some day for all dog enthusiasts to celebrate unconditional love and fawn over the undeniably cute furballs that bring so much happiness into this world. While we’re all softies when it comes to our four-legged friends, today is also designed to help prospective pet owners consider adoption.

Chips and Dip Day

Cuddly Kitten Day

Melba Toast Day

National Alice Day

National Chia Day

National Jacob Day

World Math Day

World Math Day is on March 23, and we’re counting on you to show up. Flex those brain muscles. Start those cerebral engines. It’s time for the world’s biggest Mathletics event! Every year, millions of students worldwide battle it out online to make Math history. An event buzzing with energy, today is dedicated to the wonderful world of numbers, and if you’re interested in entering the world of college math, here are some mathematics scholarships that may help. Math is beautiful and all around us, but some people’s palms get sweaty, eyes weak, and arms heavy just thinking of math. If this is you, you’re not alone, and it’s okay. World Math Day hopes to change everyone’s mind and aims to change the irrational fear of math into a lifelong fascination.

OK Day

Walk In The Sand Day

What more do I need to say?

Voila! A new category here on dotnet .. National Today ..

MARCH MADNESS is a day isn’t it!

Today, Patti and I, along with Tom and maybe Ginny up in Laughlin, Nevada, will be watching our two Michigan Teams play in Round Two of March Madness.

Michigan State vs North Carolina

Oakland University vs North Carolina State

That is of course, God Be Willing that Patti and I can manage to get the games on our “streaming television”.

Oh My, Oh My.. Cable Television was sooooo easy to navigate. Patti and I practically need “Divine Intervention” for “streaming television”.

The Streak .. Oh My ..

I know! Who Cares! Here Goes.

The Streak of not missing a day publishing a Post here on dotnet began on September the 22nd, 2022.

From September the 22nd, 2022 up to today March the 23rd, 2024, is five hundred and forty nine (549) days.

So doing The Math”

549 days divided by 365 days in a year equals 1.50 years.

For a year and a half we (all of us here on dotnet) have not missed a day publishing a Post!

Haha! I love your informative posts, and of course will pop over to see what Gullible is up to. In the meantime, National Alice Day is for celebrating! That’s my middle name! Haha!
Hope you and Patti are doing good. Been snowing here, and a good size storm should up the anti tonight.
In South Dakota it “seems” like spring, and then haha, it’s not.
    Stay well!

Yes BUT .. On Saturday afternoon Oakland University finally “ran out of gas in overtime” and lost to North Carolina State. Jack Gohlke was “not on” like he was Thursday Gullible. Cap

You would have to call that “good coaching” by North Carolina State. At halftime in the Kentucky game, the coaching staff did not “double down” on Jack Gohlke. Our friend Tom commented on that during the Oakland U game against Kentucky. He still shot 5 three pointers.
