MAR 29, 24 (1/2) .. GOOD FRIDAY..

Good Friday .. March the 29th, 2024

From Wikipedia .. The execution, by crucifixion, of Jesus of Nazareth in 1st-century Judaea, took place most likely in AD 30 or AD 33. It is described in the four canonical gospels, referred to in the New Testament epistles, attested to by other ancient sources, and is broadly accepted as one of the events most likely to have occurred during his life. There is no consensus among historians on the details.

The Crucifixion of Jesus was an indescribable event! So why on earth do we call the day of his Crucifixion “Good Friday”?

Again turning to Google we find this explanation of why we call the day of Jesus’s crucifixion “Good Friday” .. That terrible Friday has been called “Good Friday” because it led to the Resurrection of Jesus and his victory over death and sin and the celebration of Easter, the very pinnacle of Christian celebrations.

I am certainly no theological expert so I will just let it stand considering the below thought.

We hope your personal observation of this sacred day fulfills your spiritual beliefs.
