HERE WE GO LOOP DE LOOP.. aka WHANG IT..
Let’s begin with the Casino across Lake Havasu at Havasu Landing, California.
As many of you know, each and every Monday I travel over to the Casino at Havasu Landing with our neighbor Eddie to play the slot machines.
We leave at 1pm. Catch the 2pm ferry boat. Catch the 3:30pm ferry boat back to Lake Havasu City. And are “home” very close to 4:05pm.
Eddie also goes over every Wednesday and Friday so he is playing the slots three days a week, each and every week of the year, unless illness or something else requires his attention.
Yesterday, right on schedule, he went over to Havasu Landing. Eddie has his “systems” and his “favorite” slot machines.
Yesterday, when he got into the Casino he immediately sat down at his “first favorite” slot machine. He put in 50 cents and played his first game..
THE LIGHTS AND BELLS AND WHISTLES WENT OFF BIG TIME..
He hit a $50 dollar jackpot!
Yes Oh Yes! He was (1) very pleased and (2) called it a day, pocketed all of his winnings, and caught the 3:30pm ferry home.

NATIONAL TODAY IS WHAT DAY?
Two (of five total for today) that “caught my eye”.
NATIONAL I AM IN CONTROL DAY .. National I am in Control Day on March 30th reminds us of a day when things were quite out of control. Take a break for a minute and evaluate your situation. Sometimes we can only take charge of the things we are in control over. Everything else we have to let go. Start using a Daily Planner. Make lists. Tackle one project at a time. Learn organizational skills. Ask for help. Talk with someone. Feel confident with your decisions.
NATIONAL TAKE A WALK IN THE PARK DAY .. National Take A Walk In The Park Day on March 30th each year encourages us to stretch our legs on our favorite trail or at our neighborhood park. After a long busy day, a calming and therapeutic way to relax would be a nice, leisurely walk in the park.
Patti and I did NOT visit a Park. No! Yesterday afternoon we two visited the Bridgewater Channel here in Lake Havasu City.
Patti and I sat on a memorial bench beside the channel.
Whew. Daughter. Mother. Sister. Friend. Too young to have passed on!
What a great time we two enjoyed. 73°F with a very pleasant breeze.

Did all of you see the great news about the Pennsylvania groundhogs Punxsutawney Phil and Phyliss!

Wow! To hear Eddie put 50cents into a slot machine and hit a great return of $50! Not too shabby, eh? And the wonderful return for us all is to vicariously feel the thrill that you both had! Joy! Joy!
I’m elated that you and Patti were able to get down to the Bridgewater Channel, walk and rest on a bench to take in all of the fun sights and sounds! Kind of makes it more invigorating when we hear that South Central Alaska got fresh snow yesterday and today! Of course that is what makes Alaskan men, women and children so tough and keen to endure! A hardy bunch, they are!

It was very VERY nice to see you and to sit with you in the Speaker Meeting Michael. Yes it was a fun thing for Eddie to hit a big payoff.
