SEP 30, 24 .. MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL..
Just a few days ago, in our Post dated September the 20th, 2024, I pledged here on dotnet, that we were NOT going to write or publish football and other sports news because basically, no one comes here to dotnet to get their sports news.

We also made the same pledge regarding the CBS reality drama Survivor.

So here we are, just ten days later, with some major league baseball photos!

What gives? Simple! When one of you sends us information or news or raises questions about a sport, or a sporting event, we are going to include your contribution here on dotnet.
Then, two days ago on Saturday the 28th, we published a post entirely about our hometown Detroit Tigers because “it fit perfectly” to do so.

Go figure!
Then, just yesterday, Patti’s brother Danny and his wife attended the last game of the 2024 Major League Baseball season of “Our” (I lived in San Francisco for some 30 years!) San Francisco Giants. Again “it fits perfectly” to share the below photos with all of you.
Great seats you two! Just where Patti and I love to sit, up high and looking down upon the entire playing field.

Thanks DANNY so very much for the great photos.

Numbers. Your Captain and his numbers. Beginning on October the 1st 2022, and ending today, we have published one Post (sometimes several) each and every day for two complete calendar month years!
Whodda Thunk! Two full years without missing one day!
Where will it end? I don’t believe that even The Shadow Knows.

And tonight, MY Seahawks host the Detroit Lions.
Odd Gullible. Our television shows the game is IN Detroit! Smiling. You were born in Detroit as was I. We also like Seattle too but the Lions have never been in a Super Bowl and Seattle won one in two visits to the Super Bowl.
I was thinking of you as I watched the Detroit-Seattle game. Jared Goff went 18 for 18. I can’t remember ever seeing a game where the QB hit 100% of his targets. Kurt Warner had the previous record (10 for 10). Goff also had a touchdown reception that I didn’t see (probably in the kitchen feeding the indoor cats or outside feeding the outdoor critters, 2 cats and a skunk tonight). A very good night for the Lions.
Did you happen to see (via replay) that touchdown pass back to Jared Goff? It was a beautiful “trick play” that successfully “rang the bell” Kathleen. So? Yes indeed we were “tuned in” and watched all of the game! Seattle looked good and then not so good. BUT, well into the 4th quarter, “it was still a game” with plenty of suspense remaining! As you said, it was very good night for the Lions Kathleen! .. Cap and Patti
