NOV 10, 24 ( 1 / 3 ).. OFF WE GO INTO THE WIDE BLUE YONDER..
As I sit here, it is Saturday Evening, the 9th. We are still “in the midst” of packing. Our taxi is scheduled to arrive at 3:15am (0315 hours) tomorrow (Sunday) to head for the airport. We are scheduled to fly out at 6:04 am (0604 hours).
Patti and I are having a very hard time “wrapping our heads around the idea” that, in 24 hours, God Be Willing and the Proverbial Creek Don’t Rise, we two will be in our room at the Edgewater Hotel, in Laughlin, Nevada.
Patti and I both really like, and so enjoy, “Our Edgewater Casino and Hotel”. We will be there five nights, checking out by 11am (1100 hours) next Friday the 15th. We then head for our apartment in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for our sunny winter respite!
