Monday mornin’, it was all I hoped it would be..
Monday IS MY DAY of the week to ride our Lake Havasu Ferry with our neighbor Eddie, over to the Havasu Landing Casino where we two “play the slot machines”.
Because I got sick with the RSV virus and acute bronchitis therefrom..
It has been exactly one full month since I made my last Casino run with Eddie and Michigan Danny on Friday December the 13th, 2024.
Hoo-boy! Did we have a time of it we three!

This fun adventure began when Eddie and I were riding the Ferry Boat over to the Casino. Suddenly Eddie exclaimed to me!!
“Cap! Did you see the announcement up there on the Ferry Boat’s Activity Screen board? The Casino is offering a $20 FREE PLAY BONUS to all veterans!”
Later on our way home, I snapped the below photo of the announcement.

When we arrived at the Casino, I immediately went to the Casino Information desk and asked about the Veteran’s $20 Free Play Bonus.
Sure enough. I was given $20 to play on the slot machines.
It works this way. You MUST play all of the $20 Free Play Bonus. You can NOT “cash it out”.
And? You keep for yourself any money you have won playing 20 slot machine spins at $1 per spin.
Yes! It IS a tad complex BUT a slot machine attendant came with me and “led me through the process.”
So? I played 20 $1 dollar games free to me courtesy of the Havasu Landing Casino VETERANS Benefit.
And?
I spent not one single penny of my own money.

Congrats on your slot machine winnings! I will just “hold onto the winnings” and going forward “play with House Money”. My overall mission at the Casino is to “lose only $5”. IF I can hold this, then the winnings ($121.28) from my last two visits will “carry me ahead 24 visits assuming I lose $5 a visit. BUT, going forward, monthly (Feb, Mar, Apr) I will receive my Veteran’s Bonus of $20 and I will NOT play more than that. FINALLY, my Veteran’s Bonus means all of my spins are $1 so when I hit even a small payoff, they will be larger (double) than if I was playing my usual 50-cents a spin!
