This evening, after we attend a 7pm-8pm Saturday night Speaker Meeting, Danny will head south to Phoenix to catch his 6am Sunday morning flight back to Detroit. I don’t envy Danny driving four hours in the dark of night to be at the Phoenix Airport at 4am to check in for his 6am flight.

But then again, on New Year’s Eve 1999 / 2000, with an ambient temperature of minus 40°F, in the severe dark and cold of Alaska’s  winter interior, I left Fairbanks at 11pm and drove four hours over 160 miles of two lane roads in totally isolated and barren wilderness. I’ll never forget that drive. It was FAR more dangerous driving on a narrow road, at night, in the Alaskan wilderness, with no other traffic,  than driving on paved roads from Lake Havasu City to Phoenix with at least a few other vehicles travelling with you..

FRIDAY THE 13TH..

Danny, Eddie and I rode the Ferry across Lake Havasu over to the Havasu Landing Casino.

Keep in mind that it is .. FRIDAY THE 13TH..

Danny and I “headed straight for Rocky”. 

Danny really enjoyed our visit to the Havasu Landing Casino as I played Rocky, Gold Fish and Wonder Woman.

Below is how “WE” did. Danny passed when I askes him to play a few spins.

I played four games. In each game I bet $5 giving me ten spins at 50-cents each spin.

Game 1 won 12-cents. I bet $5 and I cashed out $5.12.

Game 2 I won $30.91. I bet $5 and I cashed out $35.91. I hit a $34.29 win.

Game 3 I won $1.85. I bet $5 and I cashed out $6.85.

Game 4 I won $29.14. I bet $5 and I cashed out $34.14. After I hit a $32.76 win on Wonder Woman.

Bottom Line.. I bet $20 and I cashed out $82.02 for a Bottom Line Winnings of $62.02.

I won $32.76 on one spin playing Wonder Woman.

Danny was there and he would certainly agree that the above discussion of my experience on Friday the 13th was far more exciting live and in person!

Below was the beginning of my winning of $34.29 on Rocky in my game 2.

A lot of lights and sounds as Round 1 of a boxing match began. $0.66 won.

Round 2. $2.05 won.

Round 5. $3.47 won.

Round 6. $7.52 won.

Round 7. $10.67 won.

Round 9. $22.04 won.

As Round 12 of Rocky’s 12 Round fight ended, I had won $34.29 after betting $1.50 in game 2.

Today, Taa Daa, on Friday the 13th, I had the best single day I have ever in my life had playing the slot machines!

Oddly Eddie also came home with around $60 in winnings.

Now Danny “knows how it’s done” playing the slot machines!

Danny and I then attended a 5pm meeting. Then after the meeting, we ate dinner at Subway and visited.

Patti did not join Danny, Eddie and me because she has been hit with one of the many “viral bugs” going around. A worrisome, heavy hacking cough and fatigue. As such we cancelled plans we had for today Saturday the 14th of December.
