Tuesday the 15th of April a/k/a Yesterday.
BACK TO THE SLOT MACHINES..
But first, Patti and I enjoyed Singapore Rice Noodles at the Golden Phoenix with Michael, our friend that is 100% responsible for us being here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This was our “Goodbye” to Michael because this Sunday we head North for Anchorage, Alaska, via Laughlin and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Then Patti and I boarded the 6pm Ferry Boat over to Havasu Landing Casino to check out Tuesday’s Senior Citizen Day.
You “Spin” a wheel and you “win” up to $500 in free slot machine play. Patti “won” $5 in free play and I won $5 in free play. So the Havasu Landing Casino “just gave us $10 to play for free. You MUST play the full $10 and you keep any winnings. Sucha Deal!
So off we went to visit both Rocky (Cap) and Wonder Woman (Patti). We each played ten, 50-cent spins.
First, Patti “won” $5.60 on Wonder Woman. Then I “won” $1.17 on Rocky. $6.77 free from the Casino! It helped offset the $10 ferry boat fare ($5 each).
We really enjoyed a pleasant ride on the Ferry Boat coming home in the dark. A first for us, we’d never been on the ferry in the dark. Fun to see the lights of Lake Havasu City sparkling in the darkness. And now we know what Senior Tuesday and free money to play the slot machines is all about.

Thanks for the mention, Cap and Patti, but Gullible is getting very tired of whining and sniveling about post-op recovery, or the lack thereof. I am fortunate that this was my first major surgery in 83 years, although hiatal hernia surgery is NOT considered major.
I am going to wrap it up in one post, I think, and then go back to hibernating for the rest of this non-winter.
We sure hear you Gullible. I don’t think that one person here believes that you have been (in your words) whining and sniveling about post-op recovery, or the lack thereof. I can’t find it in your six posts where you said: It may not have been a good idea to wait as long as you waited to get the surgery, but anyone who read your Posts can surely come to that conclusion so you very well may have helped someone Gullible.
We will all look forward to your next and final medical summary Post Gullible. Cap and Patti and all of us..
