DUM DE DUM DUM!
Below you see two close up photos of our Chevrolet Suburban’s Driver’s Side Window.
I hope you all can tell, in the above and below photos, because of the reflection on my Driver’s Side Window, that it is completely rolled up, shut, closed.
Get it? Got it? Good!
In the next two photos below, surely you can clearly see that my Driver’s Side Window is completely rolled down and it is wide open.
There is no reflection from the window glass because the window is completely rolled down.
Patti and I do not feel that we live in a High Crime Neighborhood. BUT, over the past several years, our above Chevrolet Suburban was stolen (and later recovered) and we have had to (at a cost $1,000 each) replace several gasoline tanks because gasoline thieves have “drilled” the gasoline tank and stolen the gasoline therein.
We also are well aware that “suspicious” vandals have been seen testing vehicle doors in our parking lot so as to gain entry and steal contents inside.
Cap’s Recent Senior Moment. I wonder if it is possible that anyone else has ever done this!
When I came out to use our Suburban a few days ago, much to my chagrin! I discovered that..
I had left my Driver’s Side Window completely open!
How’s THAT for a Senior Moment?
Senior Moment Captain? How about just a dumb, idiotic, absolutely stupid thing to do!

The Rest of the Story.
Yes Oh Yes. Someone could easily have reached inside our Suburban, opened the door lock, and then opened the driver’s side door.
Then if they HAD opened the driver’s side door, our $700 VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT ALARM SYSTEM WOULD HAVE GONE OFF!
Our alarm system also flashes a warning light in the front windshield that shows the Alarm System is “armed”.
No! I do NOT plan to repeat this Senior Moment.
