National Hug Your Cat Day is today on June 4.
Ancient Egyptians worshipped, revered, and spoiled their cats (sound familiar?). They were seen as symbols of grace and poise — traits cats are still associated with today. There’s a lot of cat hugging going on all the time! The best way to celebrate? Scoop your regal cat right off the ground and snuggle the heck out of it until it feels the love. Sounds like a pleasant activity we can all get behind, no? So grab your kitty BFF and celebrate with us!

Back on May the 9th and the 13th, I had contacted Khoso over in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, about whether or not the below cat was his cat?
In his reply he said: “No. I have never seen this cat. Here is a photo of our cat Mister Sparkey.”
Below is a photo of Mister Sparkey!
Mister Sparkey joined our friend Khoso and his wife over in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, as a tiny, little, kitten in May of 2018. So during a visit with them in 2019, we actually met Mister Sparkey.
