Here I sit, with a “blank mind”, wondering what to say! This is NOT the ideal beginning of a Post!

OUR Condominium Painting..

The exterior of our Condominium, has been repainted over this past several days and the racket (windows etc covered with opaque plastic) and confusion has been way more than somewhat distracting.

Gullible says: Take photos and publish them.

Above, and below, just look at how high up that chap on the long ladder is! Breathe young man! Stay focused!

SITKA STREET PARK..

Its Summer and our dear and beloved Sitka Street Park is hosting many celebrations.

Yesterday was Happy Birthday Time.

The climbing rock is feeling “neglected”!

Climbing Rock is usually a main attraction for many children.

You Tube TV and NBA FINALS..

Today, at 8PM EDT, Sunday June the 22nd, Game 7 (the FINAL game of the 2025 NBA Finals) will be played in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Indianapolis Pacers and the Oklahoma Thunder! The Winner IS the Champion!

As of last Friday, June the 20th, we have totally lost our Television Services because our provider, GCI, is discontinuing all cable TV and video services. 

As we wrote yesterday, somehow (I did it, yet I am not sure how or what I did) I got “signed up” with You Tube TV. Yesterday (Saturday) and NOT today (Sunday the day of the game!) we “tested You Tube TV”.

We failed. We utterly and absolutely could NOT navigate You Tube TV.

What to do?

At 5:30PM (GCI closes at 6PM) yesterday, we visited our local GCI Office to see if they could help us. No Luck Red Ryder! We were told we had to contact You Tube TV. We tried. We failed. I could NOT successfully sign in. Nothing on You Tube TV. We simply could NOT navigate it.

Back a moment to.. OUR Condominium Painting..

We were notified in April (while we were in Arizona) that everything needed to be cleared from our back patio deck prior to power washing and then painting of the building.  A friend did this for us.

We had to have assistance to re-hang Patti’s beloved Wind Chimes. I could NOT SAFELY re-hang them on a mini-step-ladder!

We had to have assistance getting four, full sized planter boxes out of our Kitchen (too, far too heavy for me to lift!).

What.. To.. Do.. ? Call Tim, our next door neighbor! Tim was not home it was Saturday afternoon!

Call John who is our upstairs neighbor! John was home and was down out back in less than a New York Minute! John hung the wind chimes and John carried the four big heavy planter boxes out to our back porch.

You Tube TV and NBA FINALS..

“John? Do you know much about “streaming television”?

“Why Cap?”

John KNOWS about “streaming television”. We have a “hunch” that John writes the guides for I.T. and Computer Geeks!

With John’s amazing, hands on, intricate guiding we NOW HAVE functioning You Tube TV !

The proof is IN the Pudding and NOT in the recipe.

This Sunday afternoon and evening when Game 7 is ON, and when we are actually watching Game 7, then and only then will we KNOW we do indeed have You Tube TV!
