JUN 21, 25 ( 1 / 2 ).. YouTube TV.. ARIZONA.. MOTORCYCLES.. GULLIBLE IS BACK..

You Tube TV..

As of yesterday, Friday, June the 20th, we have totally lost our Television Services because our provider, GCI, is discontinuing all cable TV and video services.

I am not anything even vaguely close to being a High Tech Wizard or an IT or computer expert let alone a Geek. Especially when it comes to doing something that I have never done.

Losing our TV service is basically fine with Patti and myself because we have basically stopped watching TV.

You can run. You cannot hide!

HOWEVER we have gotten intensely and deeply involved and interested in the current, ongoing, NBA Basketball Finals ON Television.

Tomorrow, Sunday the 22nd of June, is game 7 of the NBA Finals AND, having watched games 1 through 6, Patti and I WANT to watch game 7.

What to do?

Yesterday morning around 7AM I got online and Googled: How to get You Tube TV?

Well guess what? You Tube TV wants you to bring your business to them SO they have “gone to any length” to help you get signed up with them! Including live chats with You Tube Employees and when I got “into the process and needed help” and called them I was (this borders on a small miracle) immediately connected with NO waiting time!

Yes it took awhile BUT it now looks like I have successfully gotten Patti and I signed up with You Tube TV.

When we actually get the game on You Tube TV tomorrow at 8PM Eastern Daylight Time (4PM Alaska Time) then, and only then, will I know if indeed we really have You Tube TV.

I got a “Super Sweet” deal. Ten (10) days free. We plan to watch the game and then “pause our membership” until the NFL Football Season begins on September the 4th when the Dallas Cowboys visit the Philadelphia Eagles.

By.. The.. Way.. Down in Arizona we have You Tube TV and so we “know how to navigate it” fairly well.

ARIZONA..

Hello there NATIONAL TODAY..

Our Second Home!!

National Arizona Day is a holiday celebrated on June 21 every year.

The locals swear the weather is bearable and the many sunny days brighten their life. Arizona is in the southwestern United States, east of California, and south of Utah. It is very arid and hot in the summers. It has four different deserts, each with a differing climate. Arizona had gold, silver, and copper rushes. With its varied peoples, long history, and dry climate, Arizona has played a big role in the history of Mexico and the U.S. Arizona was our 48th State and is our 6th largest State and 14th most populous.

Back in late October of 1963, I became resident of Arizona. I only remained a resident until I moved further West to California in mid 1964. Now Patti and I just love the sweet “Arizona Winters” from late October until late April when the heat reappears.

Hello yet again NATIONAL TODAY..

No I am NOT going into detail about my motorcycling days but it sure was an incredible experience riding over much of Europe from 1975 to 1978, and then in California until sometime around 1980. I “opted out” after blowing a rear tire, in the rain, on Interstate 80 in Davis, California, in 4 lanes of bumper to bumper Sunday afternoon traffic heading for San Francisco and “lived to tell about it”. Let me tell you all that I left some “Pucker Marks” in the seat of my BMW when that happened!

World Motorcycle Day is celebrated every year on June 21.

Since June 21 is the year’s longest day, the holiday is always observed on that day. This day is dedicated to motorcycle enthusiasts and anyone else involved in the industry. At numerous locations, bikers from diverse sections of the area get together to express their love for motorcycles. Although motorcycles have been around for more than a century, their function in society remains constant. Regardless of whether you use your motorcycle for routine work or as a hobby, it will take you to your desired destination. I could add to that but won’t. There are two types of motorcyclists: Those who “have gone down” and those who may very well “go down”.  I would not trade my motorcycling days for anything BUT they have been in the past for some four decades!
